Chapter 38
Fox Pov.
All of my old friends that betrayed me for Katniss are out with Cato and the other careers while I sit here in my room, doing nothing over spring break. The whole school thinks I'm annoying, creepy, crazy. You name every bad adjective you can think of, that's how they describe me. I usually spend my time crying. I want new friends, and I want my old friends to regret what they did to me. I call Cato, hoping Katniss hasn't gotten back together with him.
"What do you want?" he asks.
"This is probably your last chance to get Katniss back," I start.
"This is the last time I'll help you." he tells me shortly.
"Ok, so I need to be there. We have to pretend to date," he cuts me off.
"I have to date you?" he asks, "this is not gonna be fun."
"Would you just listen?!" I yell. "As I was saying, you're going to kiss her, you have to ask her not to tell anyone for the sake of our fake relationship. She probably won't, then you tell Peeta." I tell him.
"Alright, I'll text you the address of the hotel." He texts it to me.
"See you there." I hang up and start driving. This trip is gonna get a lot more interesting.
