15: dresses

I woke up at my usual time because my phone decided to set off the alarm as every other morning.

I sleepily headed off to my room to fold the blankets up and put them in the wardrobe again until I found Grayson zonked out on the bed snoring slightly into the pillow. Shocked, I looked around confused and just dumped the blankets back on the sofa before taking a shower and changing into my work clothes and leaving the bathroom to see that Grayson was no longer there.

I wandered through to the kitchen area because I heard lots of noise. I walked through to see Grayson still half asleep and trying to pour himself some cereal. I hugged him from behind and kissed his neck before he turned around and began to kiss me.

"I missed you," he said to me smiling,
"I missed you too," I said smiling back to him.

I walked over to the blankets and put them all away as Grayson sat down at the table and ate his poorly poured cereal.

I grabbed myself a bowl of the same cereal and sat opposite him,

"did you have fun in your extra few days?" I asked him,

"yeah, we didn't really do much... we had a meet and greet in Hyde park yesterday which was crazy," he exclaimed,

"how many people came?" I asked,
"easily around 10,000 people," he said nodding his head as I widened my eyes in shock,

"that's a shit tonne of people," I said which made him laugh.

"what have you done?" he asked me in return,

"well, yesterday I had work as usual and then me and James went shopping and then I did some grocery shopping. I got ice cream,"

"yay!" he exclaimed like a happy toddler,

"and the day before I received a surprise visit from someone and then invited James round for a catch up." I said recalling the visit from Lauren,

"really? Who was it?" he said looking at me and shoving another spoonful into him mouth,

"Lauren." I said and he nearly choked on his food,

"Lauren? As in wedding planner Lauren?" he said to be,
"yeah... she gave me her card," I said to him,
"I'm happy you got to meet her. Did she say anything to you?" he said slightly panicked,

"no... she asked me if I knew anything and I said I didn't,"

"okay... phew because that could have been a big scare for me."

I smiled at him, "she seems nice," I said to him,

"yeah... she's alright," he shrugged,

"she's your ex... she must've been more than alright at some stage," I laughed to him,
"we barely dated... we went on a date and that's about it," he said to me and then Ethan entered the kitchen and groggily said hi to me,

"E TEE WEE TEE!" I exclaimed and gave him a giant hug,
"too early for loud noises... Ethan tired," he said like a caveman.

"sorry E," I said to him then grabbed my bag and headed off to work.

After work, Grayson met me outside the building to drive me somewhere,

"do you have your car?" he asked me,

"no... I walked here," I said as I noticed he had filled the seats with Ethan and some camera equipment.

"I brought you a change of clothes," he grinned to me,

"oh joy." I said unenthusiastically to him as I got in the back seats and looking in the vans backpack which was waiting for me when I got in there.

"okay guys, so we've just picked Ava up from her work," Ethan said to the camera,
are you nervous?" Grayson asked,

"no... am I supposed to be?" I said unsure, to which Grayson shrugged to the camera and carried on driving.

"we brought her a change of clothes so that she can change when we get to the destination because today is going to be a great day." Ethan exclaimed.

"I'm pretty nervous now," I laughed and pouted because I had no idea what we were doing or where we were going.

"what's in the bag?" Grayson asked,
"um... just normal clothes I guess. There's my pair of blue jeans," I said looking through the bag, "and there is..." I looked at the camera feeling fed up.

"no... you guys did not bring me heels." I sighed and then pouted again,

"what else is there Ava?" Ethan asked me,

"there is also a bride to be ribbon." I shrugged, "what's so special about this?" I asked them both.

They exchanged a look and then told we where we were going.

"are you kidding me?" I asked and put my hands in my head

"wedding dress shopping." Ethan said to the camera and smiled happily.

"Grayson's not even allowed to see the dress!" I said to him,

"I know... it's just going to be me and you." Ethan said to me,

"then why is he here?" I asked,

"hey!" he said feeling left out.

"he's allowed to see the options. Not the final one." Ethan said.

"we'll see you guys at the shop." Grayson said as Ethan turned off the camera.

This will be interesting.

So much for me not wanting to get married straight away.
