Jennifer's POV:

It's been a week since the basketball game and it was almost the end of October. Right now I was in my room getting ready to give my 4th period class a test.

The bell rang for 4th period so I stood up and walked outside of my classroom to greet the students that come in. Students kept coming in but not the one I was looking forward to seeing. The tardy bell rang and Arielle still wasn't here.

Where the hell is that girl? I thought to myself.

I knew I wouldn't be able to "talk" to her like I wanted to but that doesn't mean I wasn't able to look at her.

"Alright class, everyone clear your desks you guys are having a test." I said to the class. I heard a lot of groans mixed with people shuffling their things.

"Don't worry this test shouldn't be too hard if you read the assigned book." I told them. And I went around to hand out the test. When I got to Arielle's desk I couldn't help but feel a bit saddened. Even though we strictly said that we were going to have a "Teacher Student" relationship I couldn't help but look forward to her presence in my classroom.

Once I was finished handing out the test I put the rest on my desk and sat down. I then heard a knock on the door. I got out of my chair and walked to the door. I opened up only to be greeted by Arielle. For some reason today she had on a tiara and had her hair out and straightened. I examined her face and saw that she had more make-up on than usual.

"And why are you late?" I asked her.
"Tom...I mean Mr.Stewart needed to talk to me after-class." She said not looking me in my eyes. I grew jealous hearing her call him "Tom" by accident.

Were they more than teacher and student? I thought to myself.

"And where's your late slip?" I asked a little to sternly. She winced at the tone of my voice and said "Hold on." I didn't realize until she went into her purse that she had a whole bunch of balloons attached to them that said "Happy Birthday!"

Hmmm...so her birthday is October 28th. I'll keep a mental note

She took out the slip and handed it to me and walked past me into the classroom making sure not to hit me with any of the balloons.

As soon as she stepped in a whole class yelled out "Happy Birthday Arielle!" She smiled at them and put her purse with the balloons in the back of the classroom and was looking for something in her bag. While she was doing that, Paige went into her bookbag and pulled out a box that looked sort of like a ring box and stood out of her seat and headed over to Arielle.

The whole class' attention was on them. Paige opened the box and inside was a beautiful Pandora ring. She looked at Arielle lovingly and said "Happy Birthday Ari." and took out the ring and out it on her left ring finger.

Arielle was about to say something to Paige but I interrupted them.
"Ms. Agostinelli and Ms. Richardson take your tests and get out of my classroom now!" I yelled at the two girls.
Paige looked at me angrily while Arielle looked at me shocked, but her shock soon turned into anger.
She picked up her purse with the balloons and said "I'm sorry Ms.Murphy but I wasn't given a test." This caused some of the students to laugh.
