Chapter 56: Sound Check

After Austin and my shower, we crawl into bed, and just talk.

"So your leaving in a week." I said.

"I know. For 6 months." He says.

"Why does it have to be so long?" I ask.

"I don't know. But we can talk every day, we can FaceTime, text, call each other." He says playing with my hands.

"I know." I say. We just sit there and enjoy each other's company.

~a week later~

Today Austin leaves. He has one show, then he's gone for 6 months. I'm gonna miss him so much.

We are at the venue for the concert. It's really big. Austin is doing a rehearsal. So I'm sitting in one of the chairs watching.

"And this is when you bring up your U Girl." Rocco says.

"Okay." Austin says. Then he hops off stage and comes over to me. He grabs my hand and leads me to the stage. He sits me down on a stool and starts singing "U" to me. I smile. After he finishes the song he kisses me.

~time for the concert~

I'm sitting backstage watching Austin. He is doing so good. The girls are screaming like crazy.

Now it's time for the U Girl I wanna see who he picks. He runs off stage. Where's he going? I feel arms wrap around my waist. I look behind me and see Austin.

"Why are you back here? You need to be out there performing." I say.

"I came to get you." He says grabbing my hand and pulling me out on stage. I sit down on the stool. And he starts singing to me. I can't believe Austin is doing this.
