Chapter 19: Best Place to Be

-At the Recording Studio-

I have a new iPhone 6 thanks to Austin. I really didn't want him to buy it for me. But he did. We are at the recording studio and Austin is recording one of his demos. I'm sitting on my phone scrolling through my Instagram. More hate comments. Some worse than others. Some people are posting photo collages of me and Austin with our ship name. Saying they ship us. I like some of the photos from some of the mahomie fan pages. I like this one page @mahomie4life6093 so I follow them. I get an instant response saying they are fangirling I start laughing.

I feel really crammed in here so I get up and go outside to get some fresh air. Luckily the record label is right on the beach so I walk down into the sand and take off my shoes. I walk over to a dune and sit down. A bunch of people are in the water and on the beach. I watch all of them. Then I get on Instagram and post a picture of my feet in the sand.

The beach is always the best place to be🌊

I sit there and stare out at the waves crashing. I get up and walk down by the water splashing my feet. Someone wraps there arms around my waist. I look back and see Austin.

"Hi babe." He says.

"Hi." I say. I turn around and put my arms around his neck. I give him a quick kiss.

"Why did you disappear back there." He asks.

"I needed some air." I say. I grab his hand and we walk back to the same dune I was just sitting on. I sit down, then he sits behind me. I feel like John and Savannah from Dear John. I lean back into his arms.

"Can we stay like this forever?" I ask.

"Unfortunately no. We have to get back to the studio. It's your turn." He says.

"Ugh. I'm nervous." I say while looking at him.

"There's nothing to be nervous about. Just pretend your filming one of your YouTube videos." He says while giving me a quick kiss.

"Okay. Let's go get this over with." I say. It's now or never.
