Falling For You

Chapter 1: New Girl

I'm the new girl at my school. I don't really have any friends here. I had a lot of friends in my hometown, but now I live in San Antonio, Texas. My mom married her boyfriend Rick, and he had to move here for his new job. 

"(Y/N)!" I hear my mom scream from the kitchen downstairs.

"Yes mom?" I scream back.

"Get ready were leaving in 15 minutes, you can't be late on your first day of school." She says. It is going to be so embarrassing having my mom drop me off on my first day of school, but since we just moved here I don't have a car. 

"Okay." I grab my phone and play I'm All Right by Jake Miller. I put my phone back on the charger, and then I walk into my closet and pull out a black loose shirt that says 'NYC' in it from when I went to New York with my dad. I grab a pair of blue skinny jeans. And I grab a pair of black tennis shoes. I walk into the bathroom and straighten my dirty blonde hair. I go to my jewelry box and get black dice hoop earrings and a Mickey Mouse necklace. I also grab my nerd glasses and a Yankees Snapback.

I hear my phone go off and I walk towards it. I look and see that Eve has texted me. Eve is the only person I know here, her and I met at Starbucks when I bumped into her and they got our coffee orders confused. We became instant friends and she's the only one that I'm close with here. 

E: Hey gorgeous. I'll meet you outside of school.

Y: See you there!

I unplug my phone and grab my purse and headphones. I plug my headphones in and blast Justin Bieber, I grab my black backpack and I put the textbooks I need for today in there. I walk downstairs and grab an apple. My mom signals for me to take my headphones out of my ears. I press pause on the song, and then take out my headphones.

"(Y/N) I have something for you." She says with a smile on her face.

"Okay what is it?" I ask. She pulls out a pair of keys and throws them to me.

"For you." She says.

"Oh my god mom. Did you get me a car!" I say while jumping up and down.

"I didn't but Rick did. He wanted to give it to you on your first day of school." She says.

"What kind of car?" I ask.

"I got you a gray Porsche." Rick says from behind me.

"Seriously?!" I say.

"Yes. Now you better get going before your late to your first day of school." My mom says.

"Okay. Bye mom, Rick. Thank you so much for the car. Love you guys." I say while rushing out the front door.

I see my car and unlock it. I hop in and check it out. It's prettier than I though it would be. I plug my phone into the Aux plug and blast my music. I drive to school. When I pull up everyone is looking at me. I park my car and get out. Eve walks up to me.

"Hey girl. Nice ride." She says.

"Why thanks." I say while hugging her.

"Let's get to first period shall we?" She says.

"We shall." I say. We walk to the first class.
