Lol, okay, so, I found this one on my Google Drive and I'm cringing so much. This was written after I came back from my winter sports camp two years ago. I'm so glad my writing has changed, haha. Hope this is still somewhat enjoyable as I try to sort my stuff and get the last few oneshots out!

Somewhere off in the far lands that held snow,
a girl named {F/N} was seated in it – staring at her friends, who seemed to enjoy their skiing and snowboarding. She had been enjoying it herself, but after a fall her foot started to act up and made her unable to continue.

She smiled at the sight of Nishinoya and Tanaka snowboarding so extremely, Hinata and Yachi building a snowman and Sugawara and Asahi skiing together – it was something she hoped to do again somewhere this week.

They weren't here for long, and she was just dying to know if her foot would be like this for the entire time.

Kageyama fell face-first into the snow and it made her, Tsukishima and Yamaguchi; who were standing beside him, laugh. She had basically seen everybody on the team, but the location of her favorite player and best friend remained unknown to her.

She continued to look around for him, in between shooting worrying looks at her foot that was hidden in a boot.

"Hey," She heard, making her jolt at the sudden presence. "You okay?"

She smiled at the boy that was towering over her and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine."

Daichi released himself from the skis he was on and crossed his arms, shaking his head. "How's your foot?"

The girl's eyes widened, not expecting him to be so on-point about it. "H-How did you..."

"I've been looking at you for a long time
now and you've been shooting glances at it every few seconds. What happened?"

{F/N} smiled at him, "I fell, it's fine..."

"If you're looking at it like that it's not. Let me look."

Daichi immediately grabbed at her boot and took it off, not leaving her enough time to give an answer back. "{F/N}, it's blue... We have to get it checked out. Can you walk?"

The girl puffed her cheeks and averted her gaze from her friend, obviously meaning that she was unable to stand. "No..."

"I guess I'll have to carry you then."

Daichi swooped his hands underneath her and soon lifted her up, slowly carrying her up the hill whilst trying not to fall himself.

The girl felt her cheeks heat up and hid her face in her hands, making her friend laugh. "What are you doing?"

"Covering my face..."

Her words were silenced by her hands, but he couldn't help but laugh louder. "Why?"

"Because I look like a tomato."

The two advanced higher onto the hill, her foot getting enveloped more and more by the cold air. "Ah, so that's the effect I have on you?"

The girl sighed and buried her face in his chest, not wanting him to speak any further. "Zip it, Sawamura."

Daichi smirked at her actions and enjoyed the warmth of her embrace, trying to ignore the red tint on his own cheeks. He failed to stop smiling and if you'd see him, you could see the happiness radiating from his face.

They spoke less the higher they got, but Daichi couldn't resist to ask his question anymore. "Why didn't you call anyone to help you? I'm sure Noya and Tanaka wouldn't have minded to carry you upstairs."

The chuckles left his lips, and the girl pushed her head harder into his chest, as if it was possible to hide further. "Well, I didn't want to bother anyone... And I was looking for where you were, anyways... I didn't want to rob them from their fun." Her words still sounded as mumbles, even worse than beforehand.

The black haired boy laughed, "You're gonna have to stop hiding your face and repeat what you said, I can't understand what you're saying!"

{F/N} flinched at the idea and reluctantly did as asked, meeting with the eyes of her best friend. "I said that I didn't want to rob them from their fun."

"So, instead you sit around and rob yourself from it? And then make me be the one to help you get it back?"

The girl punched his chest and sighed, "You get what I mean... You didn't have to help me, you know?"

"Th-That's not how I meant it! Y-You know I'd do anything for you, right?"

A smirk appeared on {F/N}'s face, as she mustered the courage to finally make a move. "Anything?"

"O-Of course! Why wouldn't I? We've been friends since we were kids, you should know this by now!"

She looked at her foot and then ruffled his hair, "And you should know exactly what I'm going to ask of you then! Prove to me that you know me the best out of everyone."

The two of them exchanged some glances for quite a while and soon the older boy leaned his forehead against hers. "That's putting quite some pressure on me, you know?"

His lips moved closer to hers and hovered above them, his breaths teasing her. "What if my ideals are wrong?"

With love and lust in her eyes, she stared at him. "You won't know unless you try, you know me, right?"

"Maybe you'll stop making me go crazy about you if I do."

And with those words, he closed the gap between the two of them. His feet steadied in the heaps of snow, the coldness of them being beat down by the heat of his given situation.

Both of their eyes closed and he could feel her smile into the kiss, before wrapping her arms tighter around his neck. By pulling him closer, he knew he was allowed to go further and soon licked her lip, the tickle making her part them slightly.

They fought many battles for dominance and she lost most of them, but the warmth made sure she didn't feel bad for losing.

After going at it for a while the two of them had needed air and untangled themselves from one another, panting and laughing at the idea of them finally being together after many years. "I told you you know me best!" {F/N} chuckled, hugging Daichi as he continued to carry her upstairs.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while now. I like seeing you all flustered like that."

"Shut up..."
