Walking with the dog was one of the few things that helped Akaashi relax when he had a lot of exams coming up. Instead of spending his time stressing in his room, he'd take the dog out for a stroll and managed to clear his mind for a bit.

He held the animal's leash tightly and enjoyed the rays shining through the leaves and trees of the forest, relieved that he didn't have to fill his head with formulas and information.

With all the fun he had being by himself, he wasn't really up for talking to anyone who crossed his path.

However, his dog seemed more social than he was in times like these – meaning that there was no way of avoiding the person that came his way.

A shorter boy, his hair orange in color, was energetically running after his dog. Akaashi wasn't too keen on the fact that the boy he encountered seemed so happy and he was in the middle of exams, but there was nothing he could about it.

Maybe it wouldn't even be too bad, if he was lucky. Actually, he was pretty sure he had seen that hair color on someone before. But who was it? If he turned around now, maybe he could avoid a conversation.

He had already turned around and was ready to head back, but the orange haired boy had already spotted and recognized him.

"Akaashi-san!" He called out, to which the setter halted in his tracks and sighed. He tried.

When turning around and being met with a short boy, it finally dawned on him that it was Hinata that called his name. "Ah, Hinata. Good to see you have been well."

He wanted to keep it short, but that was something that didn't seem possible with the middle blocker. The boy bounced in place and let his dog play around with Akaashi's, before ranting about all the things he had learned from Bokuto.

The amount of admiration had Akaashi scrunch his brows – he could've sworn he felt a little bit jealous just then. "If you want to see Bokuto-san play so badly, then why don't you come and watch our next practice?"

Hinata's eyes glimmered as he grabbed Akaashi by his shirt, "Huwah! You'll let me?!"

The setter nodded silently and let out a relieved sigh when he was released, giving the boy the details of where to go before taking his leave. Tomorrow was going to be hectic.

The entire Fukurōdani team was gathered in a circle, but Akaashi couldn't help but shoot rough glances at his surroundings. Yes, he was well aware that inviting Hinata basically meant having two Bokuto's around, but he was willing to give it a shot.

Hinata's techniques were something special, something he genuinely found himself interested in.

Luckily for him, Bokuto was completely oblivious to it all and only seemed to get involved when the doors to their gymnasium opened.

For as energetic as Hinata usually was, it was something different to see him so shy in the door opening now. But then again, that might've been the influence of Daichi – who wasn't entirely sure if sending Hinata by himself was a good idea.

Somewhere Akaashi knew that that was true; Hinata could be quite destructive, even if it was an accident. Daichi had to even grab him by his collar, to keep him from dashing onto the court immediately.

The captain apologized to Bokuto and then gave the middle blocker a quick scolding, before leaving Hinata behind and heading to Akaashi.

"I'm surprised you allowed him to be here," He laughed, "I'm not sure if I would've said the same."

Akaashi simply hummed, "He seemed very fascinated with Bokuto-san. I just wanted to help him out."

"That's very nice of you. I can somewhat see why he speaks about you all the time now."

Akaashi blinked a few times before letting the captain's words sink in. Hinata spoke about him? Interesting.

"I never expected to be someone else's discussion topic. I do hope it was positive talk?"

"I'd say more than positive," Daichi scratched the back of his neck awkwardly, "But I think you'll figure out what I mean later."

The captain waved a goodbye and sat down on the bench, deciding to just watch the practice until Hinata wanted to go back.

Akaashi was still in thought about the words until Bokuto snapped him out of it, shoving the middle blocker closer to the setter with a sly smirk on his face. To inform Akaashi what was going on, Bokuto repeated his last spoken words.

"Like I said, most of my cool tricks came from Akaashi!"

Hinata was actually relieved with this answer – he never really intended on watching for Bokuto. It was just a believable excuse Yachi helped him come up with to give him a chance to get closer to Akaashi.

Hinata's eyes sparked with admiration towards the setter now, who nervously looked down at the boy. He seemed eager to ask so many questions, yet somewhat restrained in his words.

Daichi noticed this and sighed, patting the boy on the back roughly. "Just spit it out, Hinata."

Hinata glared at his captain but flinched when seeing that dark aura, shaking his head and taking a deep breath before bowing to the setter. "Ikindawanttogoonadatewithyou..."

Akaashi tilted his head, "Sorry, I didn't quite catch that..."

"I kinda want to goonadatewith you..."

Bokuto rolled his eyes, "What kind of man are you, Hinata?!"

The young first year raised his head and wanted to retort, but decided to keep himself calm and avoid eye contact with the setter as he blushed. "I kinda want to go on a date with you."

Akaashi blinked a few times before showing the tiniest of smiles, nodding softly. "That can be arranged."
