"ATTACK!" Vladimir yells. Our line breaks and attacks. Marie begins to shoot again, I stay by her side fending off any wolves that come near her. Vladimir and his witches are very helpful, but even they are being cut down by these wolves. The fairies are trying, but still it may not be enough. We are fighting as hard as we can, but it isn't enough. We need roughly 1000 more men or we will be killed. It doesn't look like we are going to be saved.

Marie fights with all her heart she takes down so many wolves and when her quiver is out of arrows she draws her sword and fights. My only guard is to guard her from harm, it is very hard when she puts herself in harms way. It feels like the ground is rumbling, once I realize that it is I make sure Marie is close to me. My rose takes my hand and what's rest of the second wave's wall tries to keep formation.

The unmistakable sound of troops charging makes me turn to the source. Out of the trees comes some of our army charging onto the field. They all look like they have nothing left, and they all look dead but ready for battle. Some relief comes into my  body when I see Exous at the from of them. He and his army come in and tear through the attacking wolves. This causes our troops to rally again and push forward. Exous gallops up to us and throws off his helmet.

"Am I late?" Exous jumps off his horse.

"Just a little bit." Marie replies. I grin at her then block an arrow that was coming for Marie. The arrow jabs through my armor into my skin. I grunt in pain them pull it out. Marie helps me to my feet along with Exous.

"Exous... Saryia is somewhere up on the hills with Hatspehut... try to get to them." I feel something inside me and I fall to my knees.

"Jamie, what's wrong?" Marie calls to me concerned. I look down and see sliver mixed in with my blood. It does nothing to a vampire, but it still hurts like hell. I force myself up from the ground. Exous looks at me worried for my well being, but I have no time to respond. A wave of wolves attacks and I am forced to defend myself and Marie. With the sliver darting through my system I'm not as fast, or strong. I still take down as many as I can, but the sound I though I would never hear rings in my ears.

Marie yelps in pain and she falls to the ground. The horror escalades in my body, it forces me to spring up and slice through that she wolf. I drop to my knees in front of Marie and rest her head on my lap. She looks back up at me and smiles.

"I'm okay Jamie... I'm okay." I remove her hand from her wound, her petite hand is covered in her blood. A large gash is across her abdomen, the armor covering it completely cut through. The tears drop from my eyes.

"Oh Marie no." A sweet voice says. I look up and see Mercy standing there. She drops to her knees to get a closer look at the wound.

"Jamie, you have to turn her." I eyes shoot up at her. I didn't think I would do this until before our wedding.

"Jamie please, she's going fast!" I look down at Marie and I see more blood seeping through. I look into her eyes and she nods.

"Okay, Mercy cover us. Marie, you have to stay with me okay?" Marie nods as I turn her head to the side. I force my fangs out and place them gently into her neck. Marie squirms for a brief second then she relaxes. I drain her blood softly as I can. The metallic taste of her blood sickens my gut, but I have to do this. Her body begins to turn cold, and I can hear her soft heartbeat slowing.

Enough blood has been drawn from her so I retract. Without wasting anytime I bite into my wrist and offer it to Marie.

"Marie you must. Please my precious rose." Marie weakly grabs my wrist and begins to drink my blood. I can feel a bond being created, the bond I was hoping to feel. Saryia told me once that if the bond is felt then its a high possibly of her making it through the transformation. Marie begins to wither and groan.

Her eyes turn light green for a while then her body goes limp. Mercy smiles and strokes Marie's red hair.

"She'll be fine. I have to go. Saryia needs me. Protect her Jamie." Mercy leans over to me and kisses my cheek. Then she picks herself up and runs off into the crowd. Exous looks down at me from his horse.

"Try to follow Mercy. I'm staying with my wife." Exous nods and gallops away. I turn back to Marie who lays peacefully on the ground. I can already see the transformation setting in. Her wound has already healed. She has to pull through this. If she doesn't I must die too. It would be better than a life without her. The army has pushed the enemy forward. Now the only thing left here are bodies, grass, and blood. The blood moon will be ending soon. I hope everything will be okay, I can already feel that a victory is at hand. For now I'm taking my wife inside, making sure she is nice and clean, and put her in bed.

I won't leave her side until she wakes. She has to wake, or my life will be over. For now like the predator that lures inside every vampire I have to wait. I must be patient, but I can't wait to see her green eyes open again, and we can be married.

"I love you Marie. You will be my first and only, you will be my queen. And no one will ever hurt you again. I promise you all of this with all my heart."
