I resighted as I stood at the front of our English class.
The soliloquy was one of Shakespeare’s from the play, Macbeth. The task had been to choose any one of Shakespeare’s plays and memorise a soliloquy in a week. Of course, it had to be said with great passion; and so I did it.
The class applauded me with eagerness as Ms Fletcher stepped forward with a smile.
‘Congratulations, Avery; that was performed brilliantly; and such a difficult soliloquy to remember. Now if you don’t mind, please explain to the class a bit about what you have just read.
I nodded before turning to the front and clearing my throat.
‘Well this speech was performed by Macbeth just after he found out his wife had committed suicide. The initial reaction after Macbeth discovers this can be argued.’ I spoke, not sure if I was able to leave it at that.
‘Very well, Avery. Excellent. You may take your seat now. Next up is Ivy.’

‘Oh, Avery; I’ve missed you.’ Spoke Naomi as she leapt up from her table and embraced me in a mothering way.
‘I’m sorry; I haven’t had enough time to come around. I’ve seen you, just not professionally.’ I apologized before seating myself in a comfy chair across from her desk.
‘Ok, no problem, now, why are you here?’ she asked curiously, putting on her professional persona.
‘The-the dreams are getting worse.’ I said, dropping my head significantly lower.
‘Oh, you’re still having those?’
I nodded softly before meeting her gaze.
‘How do you feel about them?’
‘They're . . . terrifying. It’s like reliving all my bad experiences. I-I can’t really explain it. Sometimes, it’s almost like its actually happening. It’s so realistic.’
Her face intensified as she listened.
‘Now, please correct me if I am wrong but have these “dreams” been strictly when you’re asleep or have you been . . . hallucinating as well?’
My heart froze in my chest as I tried to keep my composure; instantly remembering Jenna.
‘Avery, are you okay there? Have I said something wrong?’ Naomi asked as though I were fragile and to the point of breakage.
‘I, uh, have to go. I just remembered I had a . . . assignment to do. Thank you.’ I said before hurrying out of the room before I was to hear any objections.
But no objections were heard as Naomi kept completely silent.
‘Rushing off somewhere are we, Avery?’ Ms Osborne asked as she placed a hand on my shoulder; restricting me greatly.
‘Sorry, Ms Osborne,’ I said, stepping away from her; letting her arm drop back to her side.
She hesitated, oddly before nodding and turning away; leaving me standing there in confusion.
This woman always turned up everywhere I went. It was creepy and confusing.

Im SOOO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT.
I know i always say this and i always try to promise to get it up earlier but i'm always SOO busy. My teachers flooded me with 5 assignments, had to study for 2 tests, was at Taylor Swift concert, been going through a lot of problems lately etc.
