Keva POV

(Warning not edited)

The sun had just set and a cool crisp breeze blew my hair into my face, caressing my cheeks in a calming manner.

"Alright we'll camp here." The warriors looked around and sighed in relief.

I twirled on the heel of my boot and turned around, Zeek was slumped against a tree but fully alert.

"I'm going to check around" he nodded and walked over to the warriors and gave out commands on where to place the tents. As I walked further and further into the woods I felt like the world was fading and my worries were set aside.

As I continued my search I seen flashes of what could be our future, my son growing up to be a king and a great warrior. My mate growing old by my side as we watch our kinds and great grandkids run around. And to watch our pack rise and strengthen our bonds with those around us.

I sighed at the feeling and looked around.
Buy now I have ventured all over the place and still had only one thought left in my head.

"Zeek"

Would he make it out of all these constant battles, would I be able to actually grow old with him? By the time I got to the camp I was completely drained of all my thoughts and smiled slightly when zeek was there to catch me before I slumped against the tree.

" everything is going to be alright.." he whispered. I sighed in relief and nuzzled into his chest and let him whisk me off to our tent.

It's been three weeks and we still haven't spotted any rogues or any sign of an army. I stopped our trot and looked at zeek.

'Something ain't right' I grumbled through our mind link.  My wolf was growing impatient and I felt like banging my head against a giant bolder.

' We've done ran around the whole perimeter, and the packs around us, and still none of them haven't seen a rogue in weeks?' He sighed and turned to the other wolfs.

'Shift, we're settling here tonight.' The soldiers nodded there wolf heads and shifted.

Just then I heard it..

It was the littlest of noises but my wolf was quick to catch the faint cry.

Zeek caught my quick snap and raised his brow.

"Did you hear that?" I asked still staring at the bushes.
I heard it again and this time my wolf pushed me forward without warning.

Without questioning me the soldiers shifted and followed there queen and king, to  the last thing that we could have ever expected...
