Dear Diary,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Yes, yes. Another year just retired to leave a new one in its place.

I just got back from Grandma's. Oh, we had so much fun! I want to tell you all about it, but it's awfully late (to me. The sun stopped shining at about six o'clock.) Plus, I smell of so many different dogs! (Lilly, Katie, and Beez—Grandma's. Emma, Sadie, and Bella—Uncle Michael's and Tonya's. Not to mention that I probably smell vaguely like Aunt Kay's two dogs.)

I wonder if anyone else feels like this year is going to be wondeful! Everything feels so fresh and lively, preparing for a glorious year! (Okay, maybe this is the lack of sleep talking. Crazy New Year's Eve party. Didn't gethome (Grandma's house) until about 11:45, and still didn't go asleep until a little after midnight.)

I'm wishing everyone a prosperous, joyful, marvoulous New Year!

P.S. I bet you're curious as to what my New Year's resolution would be? Well, I haven't thought of it yet. I have a few in mind, but nothing's really standing out. (A few are living healthier, re-connecting with family, being nicer, etc.)
