Chapter 10: Out Of Your Mind

Mary's P.O.V

so time and classes flied quickly, and I want to say something odd about Asa, I mean he got me a cupcake, It was nice of him, for him to do that. but It was kind of weird but in a good way. but mostly it was really nice for him to celebrate, he wanted to... I wondered why. never got the answer

me and Asa worked together in class and other classes too. he made me smiled a lot, he smiled a lot too.

I was  pretty shy, confident, naïve and passably, well almost.

As the last class finished, which it was Art and Asa wasn't there.

I went back to my room & Chloe's room too..

I saw Chloe on her laptop, probably doing her research paper in History for her class.

I went towards my bed and put my backpack on the bed. I was taking my flats off.

"Hey Chloe, what are you doing?" I asked

"oh I am doing my research paper in history, as you can see the big title of it. Called "World War 2"

TOLD YA!

"Oh Alright" I said

we stood silence, I heard the sound of the keyboard, clicking, when Chloe missed spell the letters or missed of few missing words, I heard the click, shiver. as Chloe goes back and fix it.

my head was down, I was putting my flats under the bed. kneeling down to the ground. and when I looked up

I saw Chloe staring at me, like a crazy stalker, just having the eyes open wide while smiling.

Chloe wasn't a stalker but her face express that in Fact.

"What?!" I said, she staring me.. a little

"I saw you and Asa at the bakery, during lunch, you're both eating Cupcakes together. I believe there's something between you two"

"What?! Chloe?"

"it's true, isn't it?"

"No, of course not" I said

"Do you like him?"

"well not really, I mean I met him since yesterday and he is Cute, really but I do not"

"Come on, don't lie ,Mary, Asa is cute but I don't like him, I love him as a brother, I think of him as a brother, I don't date my friends"

I stopped talking

"Come on, Mary, tell me the truth, you guys ......together, perfect!" she shouted

"You're out of your mind, Chloe"

"Maybe but I believe it, all I need is evidence"

"of What?" I said, I stood up

"OF love" she whispered

"oh ok?" I said, of confusion

then Chloe went to the bathroom and shut the door

......

I didn't know what to expect but having Asa in my mind, It makes me feel something different.

I came here to have my dreams come true or work on my discovering of which talent I am good at.

not here for Love.

2years...I already forgot what it was like back then,  the pain was gone, and the broken heart I had,,

it was gone and forgot... it's good to never look back. of something bad that you don't want to remember

its especially of Love that includes to many of heartbreaks, War and Emotions.

Anyways, Chloe was out of her mind.

I'm going to think another way, just having a friends around. for now all I want is friends.
