"Alec." Izzy says, walking up beside him in the small boutique in the mall. "I can't believe I found you in the mall by yourself."
"I'm buying a gift for magnus." He says, holding up the scarves he is holding.
"Ok. Why are you buying him four of the same color? You know how your husband likes color."
"He has deemed this color blue his favorite color cause it matches my eyes."
"That is so sweet."
Alec rolls his eyes and walks to the counter to pay for the scarves.

Magnus walks in after a diffecult client and smiles when he sees alecs hunting boots by the door, knowing his husband is home safe from patrolling.
He starts to walk to the bedroom but notices the box sitting on the coffee table. He walks over to it and takes the lid off.
My dearest husband
I read somewhere that the best way to keep the spark in your marriage is to try new things. Why don't you join me in the bedroom to try something new?
Under the note is the four blue silk scarves that alec had bought earlier. Magnus smiles to himself and walks to the bedroom.

"Hey, magnus." Izzy asks while the gang are all sitting in a booth at takis. "Did you like the gift alec bought you?"
"Yeah. I have enjoyed them alot. Actually, both of us have." He says, sliding his hand up alec's thigh.
"What did you buy him?" Clary asks alec.
"I bought him four silk scarves."
Everyone but izzy looks at alec like they can't believe he bought them.
"I still don't know why he bought all four of them the same color. Why aren't you wearing them?"
"I wore them this morning and last night and I even let alec wear them too."
"That's nice that alec likes them too." She says, looking at her menu.
Magnus leans over and whispers to alec, "everyone else seems to know. Should I tell your sister why you bought them?"
"No. She'll get it in a minute."
Izzy looks at her menu for just a moment longer then slowly lowers it and says, "by the angel, you bought them to use in the bedroom, didn't you?"
"We aren't always in the bedroom." Magnus says, kissing alec.
