Chapter 23 Six Flags Adventure Part 2

Paul's POV

"Are you sure you don't want to get on anymore rides with us?" Alejandra asked me.

"I am 100% positive." I said while gently wiping sweat off of my forehead.

"You don't look so good." Emily commented.

"I'll go wash up. You know the restroom next to the ride Apocalypse? That's where I'll be." I informed them and walked off.

Once I reached the restroom I went to a sink and splashed cold water on my face.

The restroom was empty. It's kinda not surprising seeing as this was an old restroom.

"Hey, what's up babe?" Alonzo's voice echoed in the room.

"And to think I was actually starting to feel better." I murmured.

"What's wrong? You look kinda pale." He said with concern.

"It's nothing it's just that my head hurts a bit." I informed.

He walked up to me and placed a hand gently on my forehead.

"Well, you don't have a fever." He said.

"That's good to know." I sighed.

I couldn't help but wonder why was he being so concerned about me.

I wrapped my arms around myself and shivered.

"Come on, I'll be with you until your friends come back." He said pulling me outside.

I nodded.

"So, you like chocolate?" He asked.

I laughed.

"Do I? Boy, the answer is hell yes!!" I said my eyes twinkling.

"Well..." He began pulling out a Hershey's bar.

"Oh my god! Can I have a bit please!!" I pleaded giving him the puppy dog eyes.

"I might but on one condition..." He said putting a finger on his chin thoughtfully.

"And, uh... What is that?" I asked a bit afraid of the answer.

"Maybe a kiss?" He asked winking.

"Oh, that's easy." I said pulling out a chocolate kiss from my pocket and handing it to him.

He laughed.

I smiled and stuck out my hand to him as if saying "I need my chocolate please!"

Instead, however, he grabbed my hand and dragged me over to a ride.

"I thought we were supposed to wait for my friends!" I said puzzled.

"I changed my mind." He told me.

"But you better give me my chocolate before the end of the day!" I warned him.

"Don't worry babe, I'd never forget something so important to you." He winked.

I wonder when he's ever gonna stop calling me that.

"We're going on the Green Lantern?!" I asked horrified.

"I thought you would pick a ride a lot more slower!!" I said stopping.

"What's wrong? Don't tell me your afraid." He said smirking.

"You wish!" I said walking to the line.

It was pretty much empty except for four people.

I hesitantly sat down next to Alonzo and took a deep breath.
