When waking up, the first thing the four did was get themselves together before starting their ride back to the house.

Getting there, Annick couldn't of inserted her key quickly enough.

"Jesus, what were you doing when she was living with that Karen chick the entire time?" Jeffery asked.

"Begging God to give me the strength to not go over there and beat her ass if she hit Pricilla again." She said before making her way in the house to Pricilla's room.

She entered to see Pricilla still asleep.

Gambino was on the floor in the corner and Pricilla was curled up in the middle of her bed.

In her arms was the bear that Annick had given to her the night her mom died.

"Where's my mom? Is she okay?" Pricilla sitting up in her hospital bed.

It was 3:00 a.m. when Annick's house got the call of a car accident.

Annick didn't even care about telling her parents anything.

She got in her mom's car and drove all the way there.

It killed her to show up and be informed that her half sister had passed on the way to the hospital along with her boyfriend, the driver.

"Sweetie, just lay down. Please." Annick tried calming her down.

"I-is she dead?"

Annick fought back tears and put on a smile.

"I have something for you." She said, reaching down into the backpack.

She pulled out a pretty big teddy bear.

Pricilla recognized it because her aunt slept with it every night.

"He calms me down at night. Maybe he can help you." Annick said, handing her to Pricilla.

"Can you come in here with me?" She asked.

"Of course, baby." Annick softly said getting in the bed, next to the seven year old.

She rested her head on her aunt's chest and held the bear tightly.

"Will I see my mom tomorrow?"
Pricilla asked.

"Shh just go to sleep."

Annick used to get terrible anxiety at night without that bear.

But knowing that it was keeping her niece from being afraid at night, she didn't even need it.

She walked over and sat down at the she of the bed.

Pricilla's eyes fluttered opened and she sat up.

"How long have you been sitting here?"

"A minute or so. Are you still cramping?"

She nodded, her face dropping.

"Are you excited for your birthday next week?" She asked, trying to lighten the mood.

Pricilla just shrugged.

"It's not like I'm gonna do anything..."

"Now who said that? Of course you will."

"Like what?"

"I'll figure something out. But for now stop moping and go take a shower."

"Miciah?" Dario said while playing with her hair.

Miciah lifted her head from his chest. "Dario?"

"You want to get some breakfast? I was going to make some but..I don't wanna cook."

"Yea I can't cook even if I wanted." Miciah said.

"I know." Dario chuckled to himself.

"What?"

"Nothing, so where to?"

"Mimi's Cafè."

"I've been there a couple of times with my mom."

"Well then get dressed and let's go."

"Do they even have grits here?" Dario asked scanning his menu.

"No, I don't think so, Dario." Miciah chuckled.

"Well that's a shame."

"Yeah whatever. I'm gonna head to the ladies' room." She said getting up.

When she left, he began looking at his menu again.

That was until the menu was pulled back down to the table.

Dario looked up to see the one face he prayed every night to not see again.

"Papi have you been avoiding me?"

"Yes...I have."

"Why?"

"Jenny you need to go, please."

"You know you don't want me to leave..."

"Jenny-"

"You should've thought of what you wanted to happen between us when you went ahead and made yourself a papi."

"What are you..." His voice trailed off.

"No, Jenny. That can't be true. I wrapped it up."

"Well then it broke or something, I don't know. All I know is that this isn't something that Imma do on my own."

Dario got up, shaking his head.

"I'm not about to deal with you. It's not mine Jenny."

"Well then who's is it?"

"I don't know. You're a hoe, figure it out." He said walking away.

We went to where the bathroom were and saw Miciah walking out.

"Come on, let's go." He said grabbing her hand.

"But we didn't even eat yet."

"One of the waiters said the N word and I don't wanna be here no more." He quickly lied before leading her out the exit.
