Miss Selenisy walked into the classroom.

French was one of my favorite classes.

It was 6th hour.

"Hello class. Today we will be starting a new project. In this project you will write and perform a play in French. This project will be due by the end of next week. If you talk one English word while performing the play it's an automatic F. I will be putting you into groups of 3.

Marge, Tina, and Macy.

Max, Bob, Thomas.

Nina, Nelson, and Grey."

I looked around to find that Nina and Nelson were smiling at me, excited to be working with someone who actually knew more than 20 words in French.

When the teacher said to start working I stood up and found my group.

They both stood in front of me, smiling nicely.

Nina and Nelson were twins. They were kinda the not paying attention and never tried very hard type of people. Don't get me wrong, they were nice, almost too nice. They always seemed to annoy me somehow but I don't know why.

"So what do you want our play to be about?" Nina asked, looking at me. I shrugged. "Maybe we could do something fantasy," I suggested. Nelson nodded in agreement. He never really talked very much, unless it was for a project or something else important.

"Sure!" Nina said. "I'll be a fairy, you can be a mermaid." That wasn't exactly the kind of fantasy I was looking for, but why not. "Sure, why not," I said.

Nina squealed in excitement.

"What should Nelson be tho?" I asked, looking at him.

"A merman!" Nina shouted. Nelson shook his head immediately.

"Ok ok," Nina tried to think of something else he could be.

"He could be a vampire," I suggested.

Nina's eyes grew wider.

"That's perfect!" she exclaimed.

"I have a black cape from Halloween a few years ago that he could wear," I said.

"That'll be great! I'll get the fake teeth," Nina said.

I nodded.

Then Nina talked to Nelson about our costumes and the story plot.

Nelson barely spoke.

I waited impatiently until 6th hour was finally over.

I walked outside to see how Derric was going to annoy Lycan.

A few seconds later, Derric came in the hallway with a blow horn, blowing it loudly. And he was riding roller blades.

All I asked from him was too annoy Lycan, this was too much.

Derric rolled unprofessionally on cheap roller blades.

Then he crashed into Lycan, knocking both of them down.

Lycan growled and yelled. "What's wrong with you?" Lycan yelled as he instantly stood up.

A huge grin was on Derric's face. He wasn't scared at all.

"Sorry, not good to be roller blading when the floor's so slippery," Derric shrugged.

My face landed in my palms.

Now Lycan was gonna beat up Derric and it would be all my fault.

"Oh yeah I saw you drop something on the way into school," Derric pulled out a rainbow afro from his backpack.

I had to muffle my laughs.

Lycan's eyes widen.

"That is not mine!" Lycan yelled, after throwing the afro on the ground.

"Come on dude. Don't be embarrassed to be yourself," Derric said.

He picked up the afro and put it on Lycan's head.

Immediately Lycan growled louder then tried to rip the afro off of his head.

But it wouldn't come off.

"Oops. I guess my little brother must've put glue in it while I was sleeping," Derric confessed, lying.

Lycan yelled, he kept pulling on the wig but it wouldn't come off. He then gave up on the wig and stared at Derric.

Lycan tried to throw a punch at him, but Derric ducked.

"Gotta go," he said quickly, then got out of Lycan's sight.

He was too frustrated too chase him.

Before Derric left he handed me a small bottle of something clear.

"It's the thing that'll unstick the afro," he whispered to me.

Then he went back to rolling away, trying to go fast, but also trying not to fall.

A second later, Lycan ran up and snatched the bottle from my hand.

He must've heard what Derric had whispered to me.

Werewolf senses.

He took the bottle and poured it underneath the sides of the afro.

It soon came off.

Lycan's face was still dark red with anger.

He threw the bottle away, then walked away to his next class.
