Let's play a game called:
How loud can you cry?
Does it drown out your sad
Music?
Is it louder than the thump
Of your heart?
How about the blood
Rushing in your ears?
Does it silence the screams
Outside your bedroom?
Does it make you feel numb?
Or are your emotions like a torrent of rain--
Heavy and piercing and
Chest hurting and heart
Bleeding?
I hope my tears sting your
Heart
Your soul
And that it makes your body
Ache in regret because
You tore me down
With every glance, gesture,
And smile that you possess;
But also because I care
About you too much and
It's the worst thing I've ever known and I want you to
Feel empty and regretful
To learn a lesson about
Playing with people's
Hearts.
