Anxiety is having something right in front of you within your reach. Except you can't see it. It's not tangible but you want it to be. You want to take control of what's there. Desperately trying to reach this object but never really getting there. Something is holding you back, like a person slapping away a child's hand when they reach for a cookie. Every time you try and pick yourself up, Anxiety trips you and you're suddenly face down on the floor. Anxiety is the bully that doesn't stop coming back unless you push against it. Make it stop. Learn to deal with it. Because anxiety never goes away. It's a leech stuck on you, making your head faint and heartbeat erupt. Making you feel sick to the core with only the slightest thought of doing anything.
