Chapter 53

Sam's POV

He didn't want me there, so I ran home. With my face full of tears, that rolled down my cheeks caused by my own actions and mistakes. I got home, and threw myself on the couch, looking at nothing. I had nothing left... Shawn was everything, and I lost him.

 ''Hey, Sam..'' Melody approaches me, which made me realize.. Who am I kidding? I have family, I've got everything I needed. So why say that you have nothing when all you have is right in front of you. 

''Hey, hey are you okay?'' She sees me cry and tries to comfort me. And in that moment, 'are u okay' is the last thing I wanted to hear. I was literally on the verge of breaking completely. And if she asked me that question, I might do something stupid like open up to her and I'm really tired of getting the feeling that the truth about my future will get out, because I don't want that! I don't want Mel to know!! 

''I'm just tired..'' I sighed and leaned back using my hand to support my head. 

''Are you sure?'' She asked, which completely made me feel worse.. That I really had to tell her. 

''I'm fine.... Aside from the not sleeping.. The jumpiness.. Crushing fear that something terrible is about to happen.'' I said as she looked at me with a serious face expression. 

''What's going to happen?'' 

''Just that my time.. - I mean that the truth about Jaden will get out one day, and if Shawn finds out.. I just.. I just can't do it'' I changed the subject as I realized.. I almost told her the other truth she doesn't know about. ''I'm tired, Mel. I think I'm just gonna go and sleep now.'' I got up walking towards my room, but then.. 

''Wait.. Sam.. Is there anything else, you'd like to tell me?'' She silently said, and turned away as I looked at her.. Like.. Like she knew something? 

But no, she doesn't know. How'd she know? The only one, who knows.. Is Cam? ARGH! I overthink too much. She does not know.. 

''No, that's all.. '' I lied, and left the room.
