Shawn's POV

"See you all another day" I smiled as they nod. They all went home, it was already 8pm. Wow we've been talking for a long time.. Sam. I was so worried about her but I couldn't be disrespectful. I instantly ran into her room, and what I saw made me smile. She was laying in bed with Jaden in her arms. It made me think about our future.. What if we'd have a kid like Jaden? That would be perfect. I know he's my girlfriends sisters son but he's still special to me.

"Shawn" Sam whispered.

"Hey babe" I sat down beside her and ran my fingers through her hair. "You feeling better?" I worriedly asked. She kissed me on the cheek and said "much better".

It looked like she's been crying.. She looked unhappy. "Sam are you sure you're okay?" I held her cheek looked into her sparkling brown eyes.

"I promise you, Shawn. I'm more than okay" she smiled.

"Sammy" Jaden woke up rubbing his eyes.

"Jaden did you sleep well?" I asked and he nod.

"Mommy!!!!" He excitedly shouted as Melody walked into the room. "Hey Sam, can we talk?" She said.

"Yeah ofcourse, what's wrong" Sam responded and walked out the room.

"Come here Jaden, you'll stay with me" I picked him up and played with him.

Sam's POV

"Sam, I'm not going to New York." She said. I know her, she'll do anything to look after the family. But now I've grown, I have to look after my self. And I think I should learn to look after Jaden too. Nothing bad is gonna happen if I have shawn right here by my side. "I don't want to leave you guys" she added.

I can't let her do this. I know she loves the job, and I can't let her chance slip away easily like this, she's been searching for this job for so long and now she's finally got it.. "No Melody, today you have to pack your bag for New York and tomorrow you'll have to take the flight to the place you've always dreamt of-"

"I can't" she cut me off.

"Melody, listen to me. for once please. I can take care of myself and I can take care of Jaden, that's what my job has been since the start and now it's my turn to look after it. Believe it or not, but you can't let this job slip away. If you don't wanna do it for me.. Do it for Jaden.-"

"Please Melody, mom knows best and if she was here, she would've said the same" I hit her soft spot. I knew she'd say yes.

"think about it. If it's a yes, be ready with your bag 9 in the morning so Shawn and I can drive you.. But if it's a no-"

I went into my room to see Shawn sleeping on my bed. He's seriously always sleeping. He's my sleepyhead. I sat beside him lay my arms on his chest and stared at him. "Shawn" I whispered, but I got no answer. He was in a deep sleep. I looked at how he was sleeping with his mouth open. I couldn't help but crack a smile. My face expression changed again when I thought about Shawn.

"How could I ever hurt a person like you." I whispered.

"I've never been hurt by you in any possible way" he opened his eyes and looked deeply into my eyes. He took my hand and held it really tight. "You've done nothing but made me happy these past 2 years" I almost cried.
