Imagine spending Valentine's Day with Klaus and trying to find time in your bedroom but someone always interrupts

  You didn't like Valentine's Day. At least, not last year, when you had no one to spend it with, no one to cuddle up next to, no one to kiss you in the morning and make you feel loved and beautiful through the whole day. That was you, without a lover to make you smile and feel like Valentine's Day was more than just any other day.

  Then you found Niklaus Mikaelson, and although it certainly wasn't love at first, not even the tenth sight, he was the one. It took you some time to see it, but your heart had been stolen by him, and he was holding it in his bloodstained hands which was why you were afraid of falling in love with him. He was the villain, the bad guy who you were supposed to avoid but you were a vampire too, and you had killed people as well, so were you any better, really?

  You didn't think so. And that gave you the confidence you needed to walk over to him one day and grab him before smacking your lips together. You unloaded all the frustration and tension between you into that one kiss, which happened to be the same kiss that convinced you both that you had found the person you were supposed to spend the rest of your long lives with. The love of your life. That was Klaus to you, and that was you to him.

  Neither of you really believed in true love that lasted forever, and you both knew that at one point it would all go south on you, it would all fall apart like it always did when it came to relationships. But at least you were happy for now, and at least you loved each other so much it made you both believe in the magic of Valentine's Day.

  "Good morning, love", were the first words he spoke to you on the 14th of February. They were the same words each morning, but this time, they felt different. Maybe it was the fact that at the same time, his lips were attached to your neck and his hand rested on your thigh, hidden under the warm covers so no one could see but it only earned a low chuckle from you as you pushed him off of you. A hint of disappointment painted upon his beautiful features, but he didn't have time to protest when you had straddled his hips with a smug grin on your face.

  "Happy Valentine's Day", you whispered, before diving down to place your lips onto his. Klaus smirked, and all he could think of was how he had the best girl in the world while your hands were wandering around his revealed upper body, adoring each inch like never before. Your lips slowly parted, and as you lifted yourself up, you tugged on his lower lip with your teeth, making him whimper weakly which was a sound only you could cause.

  "Making out in the morning, love?", Klaus chuckled darkly and gave you an intense look as he grabbed you from your wrists and flipped you to your back, so he was on top of you and pinning you down to the mattress. You bit your lip and shrugged, while your hand found its way to the back of Klaus' hand and brought him back down to you so it was easier for you to connect your lips again.
