Summary:
Meet Lacey Drews, she's your average soon to be shewolf just enjoying her life but when Alpha Ryder steps in well let's say things are about to get ugly. Lacey despises Ryder with passion after he ruins her last memory of her older brother, she becomes depressed. She and her older brother were very close but after his death the only thing that kept her alive was the car he made for her. Later on, Lacey does fall in love with Ryder but will that solve the problems that they have? Even when she finds out that Ryder's wolf is out of control? Can they work their relationship out or will Lacey have to run away from the over possessive alpha?
Annie's Thoughts:
The abuse in this one is done by her mate. Normally, I don't like reading stories like this where the mate is abusive unless he rejects her and she leaves to try and find a life elsewhere, but the ending to this one just makes you want to cry and ask why. Never should someone be with someone who is abusive at all.
