Reginae pov

Today is friday and Im going on a casual date with michael I'm so excited.I just got out of my eight hour class now Im walking to locker.Until somebody pulled my hair.I was about to swing until I seen it was Michael.

Me:Michael dont pull my hair.
Michael:damn Reginae!
Me:Let me get my stuff out my locker.

I walked to my locker then he leaned on the side of me.

I grabbed my book then I walked to Michael's car.He started driving to my house which was five or six minutes away.

Me:I'm so glad this week is finally over just one more week of high school.
Michael:Imma need this week coming up to slow down.
Me:why?
Michael:life is flying right pass me.And I got a D in pre calculus.Thats the only class im worried about.
Me:I can help you with pre calculus I got a B in the class.
Michael:you smart as hell.
Me:Its hard work.
Michael:What are you doing after high school?
Me:get my nail technician license then Im going to work here for a few years then I think I want to move out state.What college are you going to?
Michael:Im going to University of Houston.
Me:your going to Houston.
Michael:yeah ,Im nervous but Im hella excited.
Me:Its better than this place.
Michael:yeah.
Me:eight o'clock
Michael:eight o'clock sharp.

He dropped me.I did my homework I finish at three thirty then I picked out an outfit then I freshened up and I did my hair.By that time It was seven thirty.

I sat down on the couch.

Ma:Reginae
Me:yes ma.
Ma:ten oclock is your curfew.
Me:ok
Ma:I trust you with Michael So dont do anything stupid.
Me:ok

I heard a knock on the door.My momma answered the door It was Michael.

Michael:hey Ms.Jackson.
Ma:hey Michael.You know the rules.
Michael:yes bring Nae back before ten oclock.
Ma:no kissing either.
Me:ok ma no need to worry about that.

I grabbed my purse then I kissed my momma bye.

I got in his truck.

Michael:so guess where im taking you?
Me:to a restaurant because I'm hungry.
Michael:yes and to the movies.
Me:that sounds fun what are we going to see?
Michael:twenty two jump street.
Me:I cant wait...

We walked into this restaurant He opened the door for me and he help sit me down.

Me:your such a gentleman.
Michael:Ill always be a gentlemen.
Me:what makes you so attracted to me.
Michael:I liked you since I met you.I love your crazy personality and your sexy.
Me:I did know you liked me.
Michael:yeah.It was your personality that attracted me,Your so live theres never a dull moment with you.
Me:Have you ever been outside of California?
Michael:no but I moving to Houston .
Me:Im proud for you to making it out of Compton.
Michael:Nae I didnt even graduate yet.
Me:I know your going to pass.
Michael:thanks Reginae.
Me:Can I ask this question if you dont mind..

He shook his head.

Me:What happened between you and oh girl?
Michael:she was a control freak and she was somewhat a stalker.
Me:no wonder why you stayed away from me.
Michael:yeah I should of broke it off when I first found out she was controlling but I shouldn't of let you go . What happened with you and Reggie?
Me:All he wanted was one thing . I should of just listened to my friends.
Michael:yeah he's a dumb ass.
Me:Since we kind of know each other already....
Michael:Your favorite color is pink,Your obsessed with The weeknd,You love going to the beach.

I smiled at him.

Me:you remembered my favorite things.
Michael:yeah why wouldnt I ...Knew you since seventh grade.
Me:Your favorite movie is Godfather you love sweet and sour chicken and your favorite color is Royal blue.

Michael started laughing.

Me:what I think I got everything right.
Michael:you did.

We ordered our food.

Me:we should get some dessert afterwards.
Michael:aight.

We played on this tablet and talked . We walked down the street to the movies and watched 22 jumpstreet.Then he dropped me off.

My mom was watching something on netflix.

Ma:how was tour little date?
Me:best night ever we went to dinner then we went to the movies.Ma this the first time I really feel special,like he's laid back about stuff.
Ma:thats good baby can you promise me not to rush take your time your young.
Me:promise ,let me take these heels off because their killing me.
Ma:good night baby.
Me:night momma.
