Imagine that you're an old love of Kol's and when you're brought back to life and he sees you at the Mikaelson ball he tries to get you to fall in love with him again

Being separated from the person you love the most is hard. Was hard. You experienced it. You went through it. But it wasn't as hard for you as it was for your true love. Because when you died, when your heart was torn out of your chest, the last thing you heard, saw, and thought about was Kol Mikaelson, and it lasted for only seconds, but Kol had to live with the agonizing pain that came with your death for years. Until he was daggered, and put into a box for decades, but still, the memory of you lived in his mind and in his heart and he was quite certain he'd never let go of it.

You and Kol fell in love in the early 1900s, when he was briefly undaggered behind Klaus' back, though as soon as the villainous brother found out, he locked Kol back in the box he came from. But he had enough time to meet you, the lovely, fascinating Y/N Y/LN and he fell in love instantly. You felt the same way, and it overwhelmed the both of you to the point where you were intensely making out on the first night you met. It was fierce love at the first sight, and it burned hot and wild until your heart was removed from your body, and you fell to your death.

It was a tragic story that haunted the Mikaelsons even with the other half dead and the other half locked in a coffin with a dagger in his chest, but it was the thing Rebekah thought of when she was about to lose her hope on love or men in general. It was the thing that Elijah thought of, every single day, and the thing he used against Klaus when he was ranting hard at him. The epic love story, and it was burned to ashes, just like that.

Elijah and Rebekah eventually decided that you had to be brought back, with the help of some powerful witches. And Mystic Falls, where they were residing, had a great witch, Bonnie Bennett, and used her to perform a big spell. It was challenging, and everyone hated the Mikaelsons for using their precious Bennett witch for something as difficult as bringing an old vampire back, but she succeeded, and you were welcomed to the present day.

"Y/N, oh how I have missed you", was the first thing you heard after over a century, but you were glad it was that instead of something awful. You had no memories of any kind, except your name and some of your history, but you couldn't recognize the blonde girl hugging you, nor the handsome gentleman in a suit behind her.

With your vampire skills, you pushed Rebekah off of you, and sprinted elsewhere, but stayed near enough to talk to them. You gave them a scared, confused look, not understanding why these strangers were all over you and your expression caused Elijah to sigh, knowing what was up.

"She can't remember us", he grimaced, and kicked a chair to a wall, "where did that little witch go, I-", wanting to strangle Bonnie for not being good enough for the amazing, incredible Y/N. Rebekah held Elijah back though, and interrupted her brother's words to talk to you.
