CHAPTER 38.1 Final Assessment

Nanalo ang team nila Ellah nitong nakaraan, at mukhang sila rin ang makakaharap namin ngayon. Yet, the sparring stage will be under the individual assessment.

Jairus and Ellah are already on the first stage of the obstacle course. I took the second stage where I'm going to compete with Calyx, and Zoiren with Andy on the last stage.

Taking a deep breath, I hope our sudden shift of positions will not bother our usual plan. Isa pa, para na rin maging flexible kami sa bawat obstacle course na kailangan naming lagpasan.

Jairus immediately picked the bow and arrow, effortlessly aiming the line and popped all the balloons. Ellah, on the other hand, grabbed the three little shurikens and launched them to the targets-vanished through thin air in every pop.

Muntik nang mahagip ang kamay ko sa isang nakalambitin sa dulo na agad ko namang nalampasan. Ngunit bago pa man ako makalapag ay nakatakbo na si Andy papunta kay Calyx matapos makaakyat sa obstacle net.

"Bilisan mo, Commander Zenrie!" Zoiren called as he reached his hand from afar. I took a pause when I felt a little tick of an energy signal-ambiguous.

I snapped, dashing and launching myself towards the next obstacle without climbing the net. Some of the members of Arcantz Legionear took a pause after seeing my little shenanigan.

"Bro, that's cheating!" Rupert raised a finger.

Bigla namang binatukan ni Ranzou ang maingay na ponkan. "Ang tawag d'yan ay strategy. Shunga."

Emerson took a sigh after placing himself in between. "Let's just say...she became a literal butterfly because of that."

My ears are cursed.

Agad ko nang tinapik ang kamay ni Zoiren nang lumapag ako sa harapan niya. Muntikan pa siyang mawalan ng balanse nang umatras.

"Grabe ka na Zenrie," nakangising saad nito bago makaramdam ng mabigat na kamay sa batok. "Aray!"
