I stood at the mirror looking at myself. Was my red lips and rosy checks enough to to impress my boyfriend? Did I need more makeup? I felt better with more makeup on, but my boyfriend never liked me wearing it. I'm pretty without it is what he would say but I never believed him.
I shook out of my thoughts and applied foundation to lipstick, my boyfriend wouldn't be happy but I sure was.
~ 2 hrs later ~
I opened the door to see my handsome boyfriend standing there, ready to hang out.
Guy: Why are you wearing makeup?
You: I wanted to look nice for you.
Guy: Isn't our plans to just watch a movie here and relax?
You: They are but I wanted to look nice for you.
Guy: Please remove it! You're beautiful without makeup and you don't need it.
You: Bu-
Guy: No buts! Please go take it off and I'll pick out a movie for us.
You: Okay, but you're lucky I love you.
Maybe I am pretty without makeup.
