‘A-and then what happened?’ Avery asked softly.
‘Oh… um…’ I honestly didn’t know how to reply. I had told her the truth all up to this bit but I didn’t know how I was going to approach it from this point on.
‘I kicked him hard and he fell back and then I took my bags and stuff and ran to the police station where I spent the night. They arrested him after a couple of days of searching. The police wanted to know where I was going and if I had any relatives but I told them I couldn’t stay there anymore knowing what went on so I grabbed my passport and left over money and came over to New South Wales.’ I lied fairly well.
OK, I hated lying but there was honestly no other way to handle this…
Avery Blake’s POV
‘Shit…’ I cursed.
‘At least his behind bars now and can’t get you… right?’
‘Um… y-yeah.’ She said with a smile.

It was around 4 when we got back to the academy. After such an enormously, overwhelming day… including the Counsellor, Erik, Kimberly, Meghann, Fortune Teller, the scar and then Meghann’s family business… just to name a few.
I honestly thought my life was hard but I guess I’m not the only one.
So here I was, lying in bed a couple of hours later, facing the white/creamy coloured roof; trying to process the days happenings.
I still couldn’t believe the things the psychic told me… us.
And what was I to think about Meghann’s past? Did I even have a reason to think about it though? Considering everything was over and he was in jail…
And somehow, throughout my mind-blabber, sleep finally crept its way over to me.
I stood there; glued to the ground whilst in front of me was a person… a girl, with mid-length blonde hair to be precise.
My curiosity was getting the better of me so I reached my hand out to try and turn her shoulder but as soon as I moved my arm; the blonde headed person in front of me mirrored my movement. I instantly dropped my arm and took a step back but of course, she followed my movement.
I began to get paranoid and distressed.
Every single movement was mimicked, even down to the last hair on my head.
‘Stop copying me! Leave me alone! Who are you?’ I shouted anxiously.
She then dramatically turned around the face me with a smirk on her face.
It was Kimberly.
‘Stop copying me! Leave me alone! Who are you?’ she mimicked with a cold voice.
I shot up from my bed as my breathing was uneven as I desperately tried to breathe.
The dream made my shiver and I felt as though it had more meaning then I initially thought.
I looked over to my alarm clock and realized it was 6:30… I still had a good couple of sleep ahead but I knew I would never be able to get back to sleep.
I sighed and got changed into my running clothes as I knew I hadn’t been for a run in a long time.

I automatically stopped in my tracks as I realized just where I was… Cole’s cabin. I hadn’t seen him since Kimberly had realized we had spent the night.
