Chapter 17

Natasha's POV

It's raining very hard. And now, I'm so bored here in my room. Paris is out, nasa unit ata ni Ronde. While Daphne is stock in her room doing I-don't-know.

I get my cellphone when it started ringing again. Damn it, kanina pa yan tumutunog di ko na lang pinapansin. I'm so sure that's just Clayton. He knows I'm mad because of what he did last night. That jerk didn't show up and made me wait for the whole night.

When my phone stopped ringing, kasabay naman nun ang pagkatok sa may pintuan ng kwarto ko.

I ruffled my hair while walking to the door of my room.

"Daph, what?"

"Someone is waiting for you."

"Who--" bago ko pa matapos ang sasabihin ko, pumasok na siya agad sa katabing kwarto ng kwarto ko at napapikit ako nang isara niya nang pagkalakas-lakas yung pinto.

What the hell is her problem? And did she cry? Her eyes is so puffy.

Bumaba ako to see who is waiting for me kahit na alam ko kung sino. And yeah, I was right. The great Clayton jerk is here.

"Why are you here?" I asked while crossing my arms above my chest.

He faced me. "Magdalene, I'm sorry for not showing up last night. Something came up."

I rolled my eyes at umupo ako sa kabilang sofa.

"Whatever. Is that all? You can leave now." I said.

"No, I want to pay back for standing you up last night. That's why I brought you breakfast."

I take a glance at the paper bags above the center table.

"Just for me? How about Daphne? And you?"

Napahawak siya sa may likod ng ulo niya. I guess, ako lang talaga binilhan niya.

"I already ate and for Daphne, I forgot to bring some breakfast for her. Because I thought she might not eat it."

"Why wouldn't she?" I smirked. "I thought you two are friends?"

"I thought so too but--"

"Tasha." Napalingon ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses ni Daphne. "I'm going out. I have a shoot today."

"But you are not eating anything yet." Sagot ko. I stand up and pick the paper bag that Clayton's brought tapos lumapit ako kay Daphne. "Bring this and eat it. Baka magkasakit ka sa ginagawa mo, Daph."

She smiled a little tapos umiling siya. "He brought that for you. I'm fine. Kakain na lang ako dun. I'll go now, okay?" Then she kissed my cheek at lumabas na siya ng unit.

I sighed. I know Daphne is not okay. And it's my fault. I secretly know that he likes Nathan but still I decided to date him just for my freaking revenge.

I'm sorry, Daph.

"Its cold here. Let's go to my room."

Pagpasok namin sa kwarto ko, I switched on the television and sits at the side of my bed. Clayton is just standing there at the side looking so sorry. I can't help but to smile a little, he looks like a little puppy. So cute.

"What are you doing there? Sit wherever you want." I said tapos umupo ako sa kama ko and snuggled my blanket. "Damn, it's so cold."

I saw Clayton walks at the other side of my bed at nagulat na lang ako nang bigla akong mapahiga sa ibabaw niya. I blinked my eyes twice while looking at him with shocked expression.
