Samantha's POV

"Let me help you.. Give me the parts of you.. The parts you've tried to throw away, the parts you were convinced no one would love. Sam. You know I'd do anything, or.. You could atleast tell me if you want me to stay or leave.. You can't continue avoiding me like this. Just tell me. You're my......"

"Friend" I helped him finish his sentence and stared into his brown eyes.

My heart felt so empty but yet so broken. He knows nothing about how I feel about him. NOTHING. "Even if I asked you to stay, you wouldn't be able to do it. Would you? You're just saying that to make me feel like it's my fault that you're leaving. And the thing is.. You already know that I'd have you to leave."..

A car approached the entrance of the park.

"I guess it's your transfer" I sighed ..

"Sam.."

The moment he gave me the look of confusion was the last time I ever looked into his eyes as he slowly left.

We all change.. But nothing will ever change us like losing someone we care about and looking into their eyes for the very last time.

He went into the car and looked out of the window, staring at me as I looked away and the car slowly disappeared.

It was the last year of high school. I had no one but him.. And he was able to travel to the other side of the world for college. That's not the only problem.

*RING RING*

I picked up the phone. "Hey....Sammy Hun.." My mom sounded weak.

"mom! What's wrong!? Where are you?"

"I.. I love you honey.. Promise me you and your sister will get along."

"MOM!"

"Promise.... Me.. Now.." Her voice faded away as my tears confusingly rolled down my tears.. I wasn't sure about what was going on. The only thing I knew was that I had to promise her..

"Mom.. I promise you.. I will never leave her. I love you so much-." I was still on the line but no one was speaking.

"Mom?.." I worriedly breathed not knowing what the hell was going on.

"MOM!!!" I heard Melody screaming in the background. Mom dropped the phone.. As my heart dropped along. I knew something happened.

I was still in the park after he left.

"Hello, is this Samantha Hilliard? Hello is someone still there?"

"Yes.. Yes could you please tell me.. What is going on and who are you?"

"You're talking with Billy and I'm the doctor of your mom.. I'm sorry to announce you that.." In that moment he mentioned the last words, I dropped my phone.. I dropped everything I ever held on to. My feelings, my problems. Every single thing.

I lost 2 people the same day I lost myself.

I lost everything..
