-PRESENT, EVENING-

It's sunset, and Yin and the group are getting ready to make the hike to Shredder's hidden mansion. They've been training all day and they've only just had a half hour break. Karai is wearing her usual clothes and gear, Yin is wearing her new outfit, and Leo and Raph are wearing their outfits they made when they originally went here for the first time.

"Ugh, I'll be so glad when this is over!" Yin said, stretching out her legs. "No more Shredder, no more problems."

The other three shared a glance which Yin thankfully didn't notice. When Yin was away meditating, Karai said that she'd tell Yin about Shredder when they weren't around. Either way...she'll end up going ape shit on them.

"Yeah", Karai nodded, her mind whirling, dreading when the time would come. "Can't wait." Her gaze hardened.

"Let's go team", Leo nodded, and one by one, they began the ten mile walk.

-AT THE FARMHOUSE-

Everyone is asleep but Splinter. He's had the same nightmare/dream/vision for the past three weeks now! Him fighting Shredder in the city, on top of a tall building, and him falling to the sharp blades of Shredder's hate.

Splinter is standing outside on the porch, looking up at the moon, praying for the safety of the others who are out of the mission. "If it is truly my time to go...then so be it."

"Sensei?"

Donnie's voice made him turn around. "Why are you awake, my son? You should be asleep."

"I just-...can't", Donnie sighed hopelessly. "Ever since you told us what you told us I just can't seem to focus on anything right now! I can barely remember what to do on my projects, I can barely focus on retro mutagen for Shredder, and I-." He stopped ranting when he felt Splinter hug him. "...I just don't want you to go, dad."

Splinter sighed wearily. "You had to know, Donatello. This was too important to not keep from you. You understand, right?"

"Hai, Sensei..." Donnie sighed.

"Now...go and get some rest, you'll need it."

-IN THE WOODS-

They made it four miles in, and they decided to stop to catch their breaths. Yin's senses were going off about something up ahead. What could it be? Or who? Can't be the spirit deer because there's no hustle and bustle of animals... It's oddly quiet.

"Alright, everyone, let's get moving again", Leo announced. "Actually-Raph and I will scout ahead for anything."

Briefly sharing a look with Karai, and before Yin could speak, the two turtles ran off.

"Hmm", Yin frowned, "they've been acting weird." She cut off Karai before the girl could explain. "And so have you! Are you three keeping something from me that I should know about?"

Karai sighed, knowing it had to be said. "Now, look-me and the turtles have known about this ever since it happened. In fact...everyone else knows. We just didn't know how to tell you."

"Tell me what?", Yin snapped, crossing her arms. "What is it that y'all wanted to tell me?"

Taking a deep breath, Karai told Yin the truth. "Your father...is a mutant. He was badly injured and the only way to save him was for Baxter Stockman to make a mutagen antidote to keep him stable. Now...it's turned him in to what he hates the most."

Yin couldn't believe what she was hearing. "W-What...? You all...kept that from me?" She was beginning to breathe heavily, a breakdown coming on. "You all knew!? Everyone knew...?" She began to cry in anger. "You all knew and you...kept it from me!"
