-PRESENT, THE NEXT DAY-

Yin took it easy in her training with the guys. She felt too restless to be doing nothing. Donnie stayed up late and decided to get a head start on research! And he found out the exact date that the water tower will release the mutagen: July fourth.

They have mere weeks to do what they need to do! And Yin is injured. Again! She has scars across her face, blind in one eye, a headache, and her arm is out.

"It's crazy that we're still stuck down here", Raph fumed as they all walked out of the dojo. "Doesn't Sensei realize what's at stake?"

"Raph", Yin grumbled, rubbing the temples of her head. "You've been bitching about it for four days now and it's not helping my headache any. So refrain yourself from talking so I don't have to shut you up for you."

Mikey laughed behind his hand. "Oooooh, snap!"

"Alright, guys, cool it", Donnie scolded them. "At least Splinter gave us TV privileges again, right?"

"Can we watch Space Heros?" Leo asked excitedly, his expression adorable.

Donnie frowned. "Seriously? Aren't you too old for that?"

"No", he crossed his arms, pouting like a child. "And Yin likes it also. Don't you?"

"Heh, yeah", Yin grinned sheepishly. "I do."

"Fine, we might as well." Donnie clicked on the TV.

As the TV lit up the room, they were surprised to find it on a news broadcast.

"Huh, turn it up", Leo told Donnie.

"Breaking news!" Joan Grody began. "We thought the alien invasion was over, folks, but-we were wrong. The alien robots are still here, and one of them has a message for all of you." The nervous woman stepped out of the way to let a robot speak, multiple officers surrounding it in case it decides to flip out.

"The ones known as Kraang will be ready to launch the plan known as Plan Blue Bell in the mere weeks. Kraang will turn this city known as Manhattan, New York into Dimension X."

"There you have it folks! They gave us their word. It's going to take another miracle to save us now. Will the mutant ninja turtles get out of the shadows and stop this once and for all? This is Joan Grody, to the max-."

Donnie shut off the TV and groaned. "Aw, man! We have to act. And fast!"

"You see? This is exactly what I'm talking about!" Raph snapped aloud. "We need to be out there! Not down here!"

"Raphael is right." That was Splinter behind them. "I can't keep you guys down here forever. I'm just...scared we'll be separated again."

"Aw, don't worry, Sensei!" Mikey exclaimed. "We'll be fine!"

"And we all have been training a lot", Leo added. "Sensei...we need to do this. Yin does also."

"Very well", Splinter sighed, then looked at Yin and asked her to follow. "A moment, please. Yin?"

As they made it to the privacy of the dojo, Yin got bubbly with curiosity, wondering what Splinter would tell her.

"Yin-have the turtles told you the story of their vision quest?"

"Vision...quest?" Yin was confused.

"Clearly by your reaction they have not. So back when the first war broke out, the turtles and I were separated from one another and they had to leave to up state and live in the woods. I spoke to them through my spirit, being that my soul was out of my body at the time. That was the next step they needed to take in their personal lives, overcoming their fear."

"Wow", her eyes widen. "What did each of them have to face?"

"Mikey had to face Bradford, Raph had to battle Fish Face, Donatello had to face Tiger Claw. And Leo...had to face Shredder."

Yin gasped. "Oh my..."

"What is your worst fear, dear child?"

"...Myself", her shoulders sagged. "I don't want to be what Shredder wants me to be! I don't wanna be evil!"

"Then you'll have to face your fear head on", Splinter said with determination. "All of you will have to go to April's old farm home again. This the next step in your training."

"Hai, Sensei."

"I have faith in you, dear child. It is up to you to do the rest", Splinter said with a warm smile.

"Hai, Sensei", she smiled back.

Yin walked away, a new aura around her. She was filled with determination, eager to get what needs to be done.

"What did Splinter say, Yin?" Mikey asked, he and his brothers turning to look at her.

"I know what I need to do next. Splinter also agrees: we have to go to the old farm house and complete my next step in training...

A vision quest."

A/N: sorry that this one is a tad short, y'all! But...part one is at an end! Part two will be out later tonight or tomorrow for sure!
