Never expected we would be saying goodbye,
Never even expected us to happen,

I started high school,
While you started college,
It should have never happened
You were the one with more knowledge

I was too young
To be so affected by the words that slipped off of your tongue

When it was fight or flight
Stay or leave
Abandon or keep

Is it wrong that I still miss you?
Is it wrong that I'm still holding onto the memories of you?
Is it wrong that I still love you?

I wish you didn't break me
All I have left is painful memories of you
