Hailee and I have been best friends ever since we were little. Throughout the years I had a slight crush on her but, she made it very clear she is straight so I moved on. I've dated a few people here and there, trying to get rid of the crush I had on her, but it almost never works, until now. I met a girl and I'm really falling for her.

Currently Hailee and I are in the kitchen making some dinner and talking about our weeks. I started telling her all about the girl I met.

"So you have a crush on her?" Hailee questioned as she leaned back on the counter

"I don't know. She's pretty and makes me feel some type of way" I explain leaning on the counter opposite her

"Cool. Why don't you ask her out?" Hailee offers a smile

"I don't know" I nervously scratch my neck

"You have nothing to lose Y/n" Hailee reassured me

"Yeah, I guess" I mutter "You know what I'll ask her"

"Yes Y/n!" Hailee exclaimed and we both laughed

It's a been a week since Hailee encouraged me to ask the girl I like on that date. So I did, she said yes and we had a great time. We're going on another one tomorrow and I'm genuinely happy about it.

Hailee and I are in my room chilling on my bed and watching a movie. Our backs are against the headboard. We're close enough so our shoulders are touching.

"How did the date go?" Hailee whispers, pausing the movie

"It was good. We had fun and she's really nice" I respond as a wide smile tugs on my lips

"That's good" Hailee smiles "you gonna date her?" She adds

"I don't know" I reply, as I exhale and lean my head back on the headboard

"Do you want to?" Hailee mimics my actions

"I don't know. I mean I like her I do... but I.. I think I love someone else" I turn my head to the side so I'm facing Hailee

"Love?" Hailee asks surprised, and I nod "that's a strong word" she smiles

"I know it is, but this person.... I do love her" I exhale as Hailee turns to face me

"Really?" She smiles "why do you date other people then?" She questions as her hazel orbs stare into mine

"She's straight" I shortly respond as i try to avoid eye contact

"How do you know that?" Hailee whispers

"S-she told me she's staright" I exhale, a bit confused to why she is asking so many questions

"Who is she?" Hailee whispered

"I can't tell you"

"Why?"

"Because it would ruin our friendship" I explain

"Y/n if it's someone I dated, or a close friend... you can tell me" Hailee said as she placed her hand on my thigh

"It's not a close friend, and it's not someone you dated" I explain, losing focus as her hand makes soft circles on my thigh

"Who is it then?" She inched closer to me, her lips hoovering over mine

"I-I c-can't" I stutter as my eyes flicker to her lips

"It's me isn't it?" Hailee said in a low raspy voice, inching her hand closer to my inner thigh

"W-what? N--no it's not" I deny, suppressing a slight moan

"Why are you lying?" The brunette whispered

"I-I'm not" I stutter

"I know you're lying" she whispers in my ear sending chill down my spine "and I'll prove it" she takes her hand away from my inner thigh and I instantly pull it back. A wide smirk grows on her face. "Do you love me Y/n?" She rasps in my ear

"Yes, Hailee I love you" I confess

"I love you too" she smiles before crashing our lips together. I place my hands on her waist pulling her in my lap. Her legs on either side of my hips. Our lips melt together in slow passionate kisses.

Once air is needed Hailee puls away, resting her forehead on mine. We pant breathlessly in silence, as her eyes pierce through mine.

"I thought you were straight" I break the silence

"Haha I never was" Hailee laughs, before crushing our lips together again
