Two days before...

"Beomie, stay still," Soobin mumbled, pouting.

For at least twenty minutes the rabbit had been combing Beomgyu's hair, although now it only made it stand up and bothered his ears when he passed the brush over them.

"Soobie, stop it, stop it" Beomgyu walked away from him, although the rabbit made sad eyes at him. "Okay, here, comb my tail" he approached him again, taking his furry, dark tail and leaving it on Soobin's lap, making him smile again.

Soobin had a strange obsession with combing anything he saw and at all times, although he often stayed busy combing his long ears or hair, both Beomgyu and Kai had suffered from having the hybrid comb their hair for a long time, the maximum had been a few thirty minutes, until the brunette had found something to do and had forgotten the brush.

Beomgyu didn't know it, Kai vaguely remembered it, but when the bunny had arrived home he barely knew hygiene, and it took quite a while for him to take daily showers, brush his teeth, or even change his clothes when he had been using for a while or had become stained.

Yeonjun attributed it to the fact that they had neglected the little Soobin a lot and hadn't taught him any of those basic cleaning habits.

It wasn't until the day Soobin saw how nice his hair and ears looked if he bathed and combed his hair gently, that he began to take hygiene seriously, although he also brought this to other people, and combing his hair relaxed him quite a bit.

With the bunny humming a tune while combing Beomgyu's tail, who was frowning from touching his tail so much, Kai spoke to break the silence.

"Beomie, how are you doing with your bad luck?"

Beomgyu counted on his fingers for a moment before answering, going so far as to hold up five fingers.

"Five days" he murmured.

Kai raised his eyebrows, with a worried expression.

"That's quite and very serious" he made a more worrying expression, Beomgyu worried.

"What? What's wrong? Something bad?"

"Beomie!" Soobin complained. "Don't move your tail... You just raised it! I can't comb your hair like that"

Beomgyu sighed in annoyance at the rabbit, deciding to ignore him, raising his ears towards Kai, waiting for a response.

"In two days it is 'Tuesday Thirteenth' The day of bad luck" Beomgyu gasped, his mouth hanging open.

"On that day the planets align, with the sun and bad luck, they all point to the Earth" Kai explained, his voice sounding deeper than his normal tone. "If Taehyun has accumulated bad luck... With which he already carries... It is possible that very bad luck things will happen on Tuesday thirteenth"

"For example?"

"Maybe if he leaves the apartment, heading to university or to buy bread... I don't know, a flower pot falls on his head from some fifth-floor balcony."

Beomgyu had his eyes wide open, his lips pursed.

"What if a flower pot fall on your head? Hmm. Someone might have to take him to the hospital for the wound...Or it could kill him."

Beomgyu felt tears sting his eyes.

"I don't want Taehyun to die because of that" he murmured.

"You could do something for him, Gyu" Beomgyu raised his face towards Kai. "If you keep Taehyun in the apartment, as close to you as possible, you'll be able to take care of him better than if he's outside, right?" Beomgyu nodded. "In the apartment there are fewer risks, you can't drop a flower pot on your head or anything like that" Beomgyu denied. "You just have to make Taehyun stay at the apartment all day" Beomgyu pursed his lips.

"How do I do that?" said. "How do you guys do it when you want Yeonjun to stay home all day?"

The other two hybrids looked at each other, both of their cheeks turning red, they looked away from the other after a few seconds.
