Taehyun had become distant with Beomgyu, and it had been days since the kitten had received those kisses that he liked so much.

The hybrid sadly remembered the last kiss in front of Yeonjun's house.

Beomgyu didn't know it, but his human had started to be afraid of himself and what he could do to his cute and adorable pet.

For Taehyun the idea of trying to rape a Beomgyu was horrible. He felt as dirty as a rapist even though he hadn't done it. And that was why he had decided to stay away from Beomgyu, as a way to ensure that nothing would happen.

Just as Beomgyu hadn't realized what was happening to his human, Taehyun also didn't realize that his kitten was getting depressed with each passing day.

It's not that he ignored him completely, he still received those smiles from his human, he still took care of him, but he no longer hugged him at night when he slept, and when he snuggled up to him under his the sheets, Taehyun walked away, hopefully getting a few strokes on his hair or his little ears.

But he felt alone.

After all he wasn't his Taehyun, he was just someone similar, but not the same. That made his heart ache, and he didn't like it.

He was looking out from the window of the apartment, small droplets fell hitting the glass, and distracted him quite a bit from the view of the city and the sunset.

"Beomie" heard his human's voice, he turned around, Taehyun had one of his warm, soft hands on his shoulder, and internally, Beomgyu asked to be pampered "A college classmate is coming to do some work, I have to ask you to stay in cat form while he's there, okay?"

Beomgyu tilted his head slightly, not understanding.

Taehyun sighed a little, wanting to hug his kitten because of how adorable he was, he held back.

"I don't want it to be known that I have a hybrid" he said. And Taehyun was referring to how dangerous it could be to let people know about his hybrid, because the trafficking of these beautiful and adorable people was totally real and dangerous.

He wanted to keep Beomgyu a secret so that nothing bad would happen to him, so that he would never be taken away from him. But Beomgyu didn't know that, and his eyes began to fill with tears.

"I embarrass you?" asked.

Taehyun frowned.

"What do you say, Gyu? Why would you embarrass me?" He heard a small sob from the kitten and wanted to hug him tightly, but he didn't do that either.

"Hyunnie... You got bored of me" he heard him mutter. "You're not like before" he continued, the human had to get closer to him to hear his words. "Y-you don't love me anymore" he sobbed.

It broke Taehyun's heart to see his kitten so bad, he knelt down next to him and for the first time in days hugged him warmly, placing the kitten's face on his chest, caressing his ears, letting him cry.

"Beomgyu, I love you so much" he said, the kitten cried harder.

Taehyun felt like the words were short, that they were not accurate, he bit his lip in frustration, he wanted to hit himself.

"Beomie, I lo-" The knock on the door made him stop, looking towards the entrance, he changed his gaze to the clock, which showed four of the afternoon, it must have been his classmate, it was the time they had agreed upon.

Without being told, he felt Beomgyu's body shrink in his arms, until he ended up in a black, rather furry kitten on his lap, which walked away from him in a sad posture.

He wanted to slap himself.

He got up eagerly, going towards the door with every intention of faking a smile for his classmate, the boy didn't deserve his bad mood.
