The whole Elger Nouvelle castle was dark and eerily silent except for the presence of Xenlyr who roamed the place. His hung a small lantern to his belt as the only light in the entire building.

Xenlyr calmed himself as he walked into the room where Tuto and Madellinn were resting. Opening the door quietly, he walked in.

The girls were both asleep in their assigned beds where he had been slowly helping them recover. He walked over to Tuto first and began to check some cords that had been observing her vital signs.

'At least she's improving...' Xenlyr told himself as he then looked at the cuts on her arms and legs. He grabbed his roll of bandage to change them out. He grabbed her arm gently to begin when-

A loud bang rang throughout the recently quiet halls.

Xenlyr shot up from is crouched position, dropping Tuto's arm. She and Madellinn slowly awoke beause of the sound, watching him slam the door behind him in a rush. Madellinn sat up, exchanged glances with Tuto, and worriedly thought what possibly could have happened.

Xenlyr ran direclty to the center of the castle where the last of the Eliatrope's culture was kept. It was usually a sacred room, always protected by several strong fighters, but it wouldn't have been the past few days.

'Why does everything have to be a struggle after the evacuation...? They just left me here anyway.'

As he got closer to the room, he remembered one thing.

'Cra. I can't fight, I'm an Eniripsa.'

He got to the door which was... closed.

'I'll probably be ok... Fighting is instinctive after all.'

He opened the door and flicked on the lights.

He gasped aloud as he frantically searched for the sacred reservoirs which had supported any loss of Wakfu ever since Chibi created them. The kid, who had only been around 16 at the time, was just a genius. He and his brother Grougaloragran.

Alas, after 10 minutes he still could not find them. He sat down finally in defeat, only contemplating what could've happened. The only ones he found were two of them which he identified to be Ralo's and and Tuto's. He grabbed them and ran back to the girls' room.

When he entered, they all just stared in silence at one another for a moment. Madellinn grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen which Xenlyr had given her and she began to scribble down Dragonish as fast as she could manage.

Xenlyr knew not only that Madellinn couldn't write in English, except for her name, and was only learning Dragonish in the recent months. No one had sent her to an Eliatrope school anyway, since she was a princess at one point. She had given up that very quickly, though, and Queen Annefarr took up the roll for her. Madellinn was a warrior, anyway.

Now, though, she couldn't talk because of the fight.

Xenlyr read the broken script to the best of his abilities.

Xenlr, I wok up an saw the dor cloe behin you. Woppend? You wer rushed... yes? And Tutoo, how is sh you wo say phrase t mea?

He "translated" it aloud.

"Xenlyr, I woke up and the door close behind you. What happened? You were rushed... weren't you? And Tuto, how is she doing? You won't tell me word!" he whispered. Madellinn nodded to show that it was an accurate wording and Xenlyr handed her the paper back to talk.

"Madellinn, I heard a concerning loud noise in the coridors and went to check promptly. I won't inform you about her, though, it's not... time yet. I apologise for waking you and Tuto, though, in my hurry," he added himself. Madellinn began writing again. She handed Xenlyr the paper and, not reading it aloud, his face spelled a short panic.

Wh you hav tw resvor?

"Ah- Madellinn, no reason, really, it's just I felt I could... uh... use them to help you two..?" Madellinn frowned and took the paper back from him. Xenlyr had moved back to be beside her at this point.

Wh Rlo's?

"Because.... because............ It- it doesn't matter who's I use, really, I just needed the boost! Just- your questions panic me... slightly, Madellinn," Xenlyr finished looking away. He handed Madellinn the paper back and walked over to Tuto.

Tuto was pretty wrecked up. Half her face was bandaged, along with most of the rest of her body, and she just lay there. Unmoving. But her eyes stared straight into his, slightly glazed over, but still urging to be awake as if to keep him calm. He figured she recognized his concern and fear of her harm leading to his via Ralo. If she wasn't there, he knew that Ralo would end him next.

The silent moment of content ended quickly, as Tuto had only been on the line of consciousness recently. She was only awake for around a total of 45 minutes a day, of which she tried her best to watch Xenlyr and comfort him to the best of her abilities. She was more hurt than Madellinn and couldn't move more than her head, only very slightly, and used her energy purely to attempt eye contact with Xenlyr as if it were her past time.

She fell asleep, and Xenlyr grabbed her arm once more to get back to changing her bandages in the seeming never ending monotonous cycle of sleep, worry, heal, provide, sleep, worry, heal, provide, sleep, worry, heal, provide....

He difted off into his "sleep stage" repeating the pattern to himself.
