Chapter #2 - The Deceivers and the Deceived

"Stop playing dumb with us, Qilby! Admit what you did, and we'll decide what to do with you then, traitor!" Adamai aggressively answered him.

"I promise you that I don't know anything. I don't even know who you are," Yugo sharply responded. The Eliatropes around him inched closer and most grabbed Yugo to keep him still. Adamai motioned Qilby over to him and he let go.

"Let's return to the brotherhood with the Eliacube, Yugo, and celebrate another day in the World of Twelve saved!" Adamai cheerfully exclaimed, using the Eliacube to open a portal.

"The other Eliatropes can deal with Qilby, right?" Adamai suggestively asked, getting quite a cheer from the children. Adamai entered the portal, gently pulling Qilby in with him. The portal closed behind them, leaving the Eliatrope children behind. Ralo spoke up.

"I say we all hit him one by one in a circle with wakfu shots until he can't move," he suggested to them. A couple of children frowned back at him.

"Maybe we should give him some information. He seems clueless, if you ask me," a younger child pointed out.

Yugo aggressively yelled, "That's because I am clueless!" 

Ralo smirked at his comment.

"Say whatever you want, Qilby. We're still going to get rid of you either way," he mentioned rather playfully to him.

"So that makes one thing clear. Is my name Qilby?" Yugo honestly asked.

"According to Adamai; it is, traitor of the Eliatropes. If Adamai is wrong though, surely you'd recognize me as someone close," Ralo flatly answered.

"But he doesn't, making Adamai all the righter, Ralo," the younger Eliatrope child sneered. Ralo looked like he was about to cry.

"Be quiet, Tuto!" Ralo yelled. She frowned and stepped away from him and Yugo. Ralo nodded and smiled again as the Eliatropes let go of Yugo and formed a circle around him. Yugo panicked, seeing that there was no way out of here.

"I'll go first," Ralo insisted. "If you really want to know, Qilby, you killed our parents!" he screamed, blasting Yugo right in the middle of his face. Yugo yelled out in pain as his hat flew off his head. The Eliatropoes shot him one by one until he could barely move anymore. Ralo suddenly stopped the second time around the circle. An awkward silence fell over the group.

"Ralo, are you ok?" Tuto inquired, placing her arm gently on Ralo's shoulder. She saw a tear fall down his face. Ralo pulled her into a tight squeeze and cried on her.

"It's just the image, Tuto. Yugo told me he would be happy to meet me after Qilby was defeated and now- now Qilby looks like him. It just feels wrong, Tuto," Ralo pieced together in a broken voice. He calmly pulled away from her a raised his hand to shoot. He breathed in, then out, and shot. It flew through the air. The shot hit Yugo's right antler. He fell to the ground gripping his head and pulling it down towards his legs. He screamed and screamed to try and stop them from hurting him, but the Eliatropes kept shooting him in the circle just as before.

Yugo's screeches got louder and louder until they suddenly stopped altogether. He lay silent on the grass, but they just continued.

"Qilby stopped screaming," Balthazaar pointed out, "Maybe you should wait until Yugo returns so that you can give him the final blow. I'm sure he'd appreciate finishing Qilby once and for all."

Tuto stopped, as it was her turn, and said, "Yeah, probably. Balthazaar, could you keep him down?" She picked Yugo up and handed him to Balthazaar, noticing how innocent he looked now. Beaten and bruised by his own people, maybe not remembering what he had done to deserve this. Surely, he was somewhat guiltless as a normal Eliatrope.

"Both him and his dofus," Balthezar responded reassuringly.

"Tell us when he comes back, please," Ralo requested, smiling at Tuto. The Eliatropes dispersed, teleporting away from that one planet. Balthazaar looked at Yugo.

"I'm also not so sure that you are Qilby, anyways," he quietly directed at him. Yugo gave no response. Balthezaar flew over and grabbed Yugo's hat, putting it on his head again. On the other hand, he knew that Adamai would come back with Qilby soon.
