"I'm sorry, for the fight and for causing your death." Luke apologized. "I'm sorry for the fight and for publishing songs about our intimate moments." You apologize.

"So we're good?" Luke asks "I guess so." You say. "So how bad was the song that Julie read if you don't mind me asking." You ask "Not as bad as some of the others I have written about you." Luke says honestly.

"Good to know." You laugh softly there's still some tension but this time it's not negative. "How about you, do you have any songs you think are worse than what I wrote?" Luke asks you to sit down next to you on the floor.

"Definitely, but I don't think you need to hear them or anyone needs to." You admit to Luke "Damn, so I should read them." Luke says "No, never." You laugh as Luke pulls a cigarette from his pocket. You reach your hand out to take a drag.

"I don't think you could handle the song honestly." You tell him as you blow the smoke from your mouth. "Now you have to let me read one. And you always have your book." Luke said.

"Fine," you mutter, getting up to grab your songbook. "I get to read one of yours now." You tell Luke and he rolls his eyes. Watching him flip through the pages and he lands on one. You sat and studied his facial expressions, his eyes glanced across the page. "I don't need to finish reading that to know you win." Luke said

"Baby, do I taste like candy?" Luke quotes from the song. "That is what you picked out of it." You laughed

"I wrote that when we were together and I think there might be one just like that one." You admit to Luke. "Really?" Luke says shocked "Maybe," You say flipping through reading to find the page. If his expressions weren't hilarious to you then you would never show him.

"Now if I keep my eyes closed he looks just like you.But he'll never stay, they never do." Luke reads "Damn, and I thought the one you played the night at the orpheum was bad." Luke says and with that you two were on good terms.
