One day, Taehyun found his adorable cat hybrid, with his ears drooping and looking out the window at the rain, tail wagging slowly.

"Beomie?" The brunette approached the black-haired boy, patting his head and ears. "What do you have?" He found a pout on the boy's face.

"He told me I bring bad luck," he murmured.

Taehyun frowned, crouching down next to him, looking him in the face.

"It was Huening Kai, right?"

Beomgyu looked down. Taehyun pressed his shoulder, making the hybrid's eyebrows furrow for a second.

"Haven't I told you that penguins lie?"

Beomgyu opened his eyes in surprise, Taehyun smiling at the gesture.

The black-haired boy thought about it for a moment, before denying.

"You told me that penguins could eat me and that I wouldn't get too close to him if we both changed"

Taehyun sighed.

"Well, I'll tell you now, Gyu. Penguins lie"
