AUTHOR'S POV
The morning sunbeams fall on Karuna's face as she wakes up. She squints to avoid the light and slowly rubs her eyes with her fingers. Feeling too lazy to get out of bed, she hugs her pillow and considers taking a bath immediately.
Suddenly, Nikhil's phone starts ringing. Karuna sits up on the bed, wondering whether to answer it or not.
Then she hears the sound of the closet door opening. Turning her head, she sees Nikhil emerging from the closet, wearing only a towel wrapped around his torso. Karuna can't take her eyes off him as he answers the phone, his six-pack abs, veiny muscles, strong arms, and water droplets cascading down his shoulders.
Nikhil hung up the call and his eyes fell on Karuna. She was still lost in admiring his physique. Nikhil walked towards her and said
" Wish to have me as your breakfast wifey "
Karuna came out of her lala land and replied
" No "
Her cheeks were crimson red. Nikhil smirked and bent downward to touch her cheek but she yelled
" No, you can't touch me. I haven't bathed yet "
Nikhil raised his eyebrows asking What
" I mean I am on period and I didn't take a bath and if you touch me then you have to bath again "
" Who said you this nonsense " Nikhil asked and sat near her on the bed
" What are you doing? Just leave the bed and don't come near me "
" Princess all are myths okay? " He said
" Whatever you just leave and wear something," she said avoiding eye contact.
" I thought you liked the view " he replied
" Do as you wish I am leaving," she said and stood up from the bed.
She was in a hurry while leaving the bed that's why her feet got tangled in the comforter. She was about to fall but a hand pulled her towards him.
She collided with Nikhil's chest. He was looking straight into her eyes. Karuna felt nervous and her heartbeat fastened. She spoke in a low voice
" Ye aap kya kar rahe h . Chodiye mujhe "
(What are you doing? Leave me )
" Chodne k liye thode na pakda h "
( I didn't hold you to leave you )
"Kya"
(What ?)
He didn't reply and left her hand. She ran towards the bathroom. She calmed her fastened heartbeat and then said her morning routine.
They both got ready and went downstairs for breakfast.

" We are going to Udaipur next week for the wedding," Dadi Ji said
" Wow kitna maja ayega . I am excited.

She continued
" Bhabhi we both will go shopping on Sunday"
Karuna just nodded. After breakfast, she went to her room
Ahh.. this pain. I guess I must take a painkiller.
Her phone rang and her face fell seeing the caller id
" Why this chudail is calling me. What happened now?" she thought
