KARUNA'S POV

I reached my home and sat on the sofa . I leaned back on the sofa and closed my eyes and thought about what happened today . I was lost in my thoughts then suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder and I screamed.

"Aaaaaaaaaa........" I kept a hand on my chest and turned around and saw it's Ishita.

" Kutti kamini tu kya chahti h jawani me hi mar jau " I said with heavy breaths and she started laughing .

( Bitch do you want me to die in my youth only)

" Why are you home at this time "

She controlled her laughing and said

" There was not much work in the hospital and I was not feeling well so I came early " Ishita said

"Ohk"

" But why are you at home at this time ."Ishita asked

" I didn't went to office today"

"Why" Ishita asked

" I am leaving my job"

" Did you get new job" Ishita asked

I nodded and she continued

" Oh great. Then they must be paying you more than previous job ."

I again nodded

" How much is the salary? When are you going to join the company and what's the job ?"

She asked in one go and Karuna just kept staring at her .She thought in her mind

"Oh my god what will be her reaction. She will definitely yell at me . I even didn't discussed with her before accepting the offer. "

" Will you speak? How much are they paying you?" she said bit loudly

" 1 CRORE " I said nervously

She spilled the tea from her mouth on the sofa and said

"Chotu I am serious . Don't joke"

I didn't said anything and kept staring her .

She didn't spoke for few minutes and said

" What ? Why are you looking at me like that?"

" Ishu I am not joking. I am damn serious"

She put the cup on the nearest table and hold my hand and said

" Tell me everything. I mean everything . Don't dare to hide anything. What's the job that they are paying you this much . I hope you didn't indulge yourself in anything wrong. "

I took a deep breath and gulped the saliva in my throat and told her everything about the email , meeting and the phone call with my mother.

She listens me carefully and the first sentence she said shocked me

" Did he watch too much k drama"

" OMG I even thought the same . How it could be possible" I said

" Dumbo we are sisters that' s why " she said and started laughing

" You aren't angry on me " I asked while holding her hand

" No . But be safe my love . If I had enough money you don't need to get involved in this mess" she said with guilt

" Why are you saying like this . You were there when I was not well , when I ....."

My voice choked and tears started flowing from my eyes remembering the past.

" Hey don't cry " Ishita said and hold her cheeks with her palm and continued

" Just forget the past and focus on your present "

I just nodded and said

" I have to leave at 05:00pm . And don't tell anything about this to papa and even mama, mami . "

" Ohk and what about Adi " Ishita asked

" Don't tell him anything"

" But we can't hide this from him . If he gets to know later he will be very furious" Ishita said in concerned tone

" We will tell him but not now . When the right time will come we will tell him " I said with a sad smile

She hmmmm.and said

" It's 04:00pm already . Get ready and I put a kurta set on the bed just wear that " Ishita said and left the room .

AUTHOR 'S POV

Karuna change her dress and get ready. She wore a plain white straight cut kurta set with a dupatta. She is looking like an angel. She kept her hairs open and wore minimal jewellery.



( Her look )

She already sent her address to Nikhil's PA . She came out of her room with her luggage. Ishita saw her and said

" OMG you are looking so beautiful. Usko to tujhe dekhte hi pyar ho jayega." Ishita said

( He will fall in love with you just by looking at you)

" In your dreams " Karuna said

" Why you always talk negative" Ishita said with an annoyed tone

" I don't speak negative . I am practical Ishita. And you too start thinking practically. Forget about him and move ...."

Ishita cut her off and said

" You are getting late . And take care of yourself. And don't you dare to hide anything from me . "

I nodded and my phone rang . I cut the call and said

" Driver is waiting downstairs. I must leave"

Karuna said

Ishita hugged her and said

" I will miss you"

" I will miss you tooo" Karuna said and left

She sat in the car and get lost in her thoughts. She is felling nervous. How will his family react ?What will happen next ? Why he want to fake his marriage? Is she doing right?

Then she thought to leave this questions. She said to herself

" Don't think much . It doesn't matter why he want to fake a marriage in front of his family. You just need to spend this 3 months any how and then leave. Just focus on your work . "

Karuna reached Nikhil's house. The house is so beautiful. Karuna is mesmerized by the beauty of her surroundings. She only saw such bungalows in movies. A sweet smile appeared on her face then suddenly she realised it was just for 3 months. She again kept her face straight.

Suddenly she heard a voice

" Miss Panwar "

She turned back and looked at the owner of the voice.

" Mr. Agnivashi," she said in a soft voice

Nikhil is just admiring her. He was so lost in her beauty that he didn't hear her calling him.

She again called him

" Mr Agnivashi "

Then he came out of his thoughts and said

" We are going to meet my grandparents now. My dadi ji is not well now. So don't dare to say anything that can affect her health. We both have to behave like a good couple in front of her "

"Okay . " Karuna said

Nikhil urged her to follow him.

KARUNA'S POV

I don't know why I am feeling nervous with each step towards this house. God knows what's coming next.
