After a long day of making candles, I was stretching as I prepared to leave a message on the Daycord server for Singapore Recreational Multi-sports team. A very important one.

This team caused me lots of heartbreak. Had it not been them, things would have been so much different. I wouldn't have to dread every day and always get scolded by Crystal and Alex. I can't let myself get heartbroken all the time anymore.

After announcing my leave, I turned in, ready to start another day not in the Amaze Holding Room, but at Leong Candles...

Leong candles...this should be where Mike stays, I suppose. I entered the store and a middle aged lady looked up and smiled. "Hello hello! You must be Lia, right? Come, which candle do you want to buy?" The lady greeted enthusiastically. She must be Mike's mum.

"How do you know me?" I asked in confusion

"How do you know me?" I asked in confusion. "I never came here before."

"I remember you from the news broadcast! * But hurry, tell me what kind you want. Birthday candle? Candle for blackouts?"

"I'm not here to buy anything. I need to talk to Mike."

"Ok no problem. I'll get him in a second." She went to the candle-making factory to get Mike. When she came out, she reported, "Mike is on his last candle for an assorted birthday candle pack. He will come down once he's done. In the meantime, follow me."

She led me to his house, where I was seated down. Mike's mother poured me a bowl of popcorn. "Here, have this last bit of popcorn," she said cheerfully. "Share it with Mike, ya?" I nodded and popped one in my mouth. Wow! The flavouring was sweeter than ever! I wonder if the person using this added coloured sugar too.
