Tom yawned widely, rubbing his eyes as he glanced at the clock. It was already past midnight, and he had been up all night trying to piece together everything that was happening around him. But despite his best efforts, there were still so many unanswered questions left unresolved.
With a heavy sigh, Tom stood up from his desk and turned off his computer for the night.

As he made his way towards bed, Tom couldn't help but feel tired,not just physically but emotionally too. This whole situation with Elhora's father was only getting more complicated by the minute, and he didn't know how much longer he could handle it on his own.

Tom slipped into bed next to Elhora, careful not to wake her up. He knew that she must already be exhausted as she recovered from her injuries, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for the way things turned out between them.
With one last glance he finally turned away and found some shut eye.

"Why didn't you help me? Why are you such a coward?"
He could see it all so clearly now,the look of disappointment on his father's face. It was what he feared most for years,one that fueled his anger and determination.

his father's hands began tightening around his throat,cutting out his air supply. "Why didn't you help me?" the voice echoed through his mind once more.
He could feel the pressure building up inside him, his lungs screaming for air that simply wouldn't come. The weight of guilt and responsibility crushed down on him like a ton of bricks,all because he couldn't save his father from those who sought to harm him.
"Everyday you saw me coming home Hurt,But you never helped me."
He yelled,
"What type of son are you!"

Tom's eyes snapped open, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he fought against the terror of the nightmare. But then he felt something a warm hand on his shoulder, shaking him gently back to reality.
He looked up, blinking away tears as he saw Elhora leaning over him with concern etched onto her face. "Tom?" she asked softly, her voice trembling slightly.

"What happened?"She questioned confused.
Her question triggered a flood of memories from the nightmare,memories of failure and guilt that threatened to drown him all over again. And in that moment, all the walls he's carefully built up around himself came crashing down, revealing a vulnerable side he rarely showed to anyone.
"Nothing."he snapped, his voice harsh with emotion.
She stared worriedly at him,"To-"
"Why the fuck are you treating me like i'm a cry baby bitch?"
For a moment, there was silence in the room as Elhora stared at him, her eyes filled with surprise and hurt before speaking up once again.
"I'm just trying to help!"She spat.

Tom's voice was harsh with anger as he yelled back at Elhora, "Help? You think you can just question me and expect me to trust you?"
He got up from the bed,pacing around the bedroom.
"You just never understand," Tom's voice echoed through the room as he stormed out, leaving Elhora alone.

Tom felt a headache coming on, his temples throbbing with pain as he made his way downstairs. He couldn't remember the last time he's had a decent night's sleep, and it showed in the dark circles under his eyes.But despite how tired he was, there was no way he could let the group go on without him.

As he opened the fridge door, Tom spotted a box of Panadol sitting on one of the shelves. With a sigh, he reached inside and grabbed two pills before downing it with a glass of water.
"Fuck whats happening to me?"he said in a low voice as he put his head down between his arms that were resting on the kitchen counter. Then the realisation hit him.
"It's coming back isn't it?"
