i'm hanging out in my boyfriend, jacob's room, scrolling through the pictures that i took yesterday with my cousin nate. we were at his football game and i decide to post some of the pictures to insta.
jacob is snuggling his face into my neck, unmoving, so i assume that he's sleeping.

i suddenly feel jacob move, grabbing his phone from the dresser. after a bit of silence i feel him turn away from me. i frown, but i'm also relieved because i have to use the bathroom.
"babe i'm gonna do to the bathroom really quick mk?" i say, stepping out of bed. instead of getting an ok or even just a hum, i get nothing but silence. i frown. "jacob?" i ask him. he keeps himself turned away from me and stays silent.
"uhm...okay?" i mumble to myself. i go to the bathroom and do my business, then return to bed, seeing jacob still turned away. i get into the bed and lay down, wrapping my arms around his torso. he suddenly yanks away from me causing me to frown.
"jacob?" i ask him, hurt by him not wanting to be near me. he's usually a very cuddly person. once i again, i get no response. i decide to text maddy.

"jacob. please don't ignore me." i say, in a pleading voice. "why shouldn't i?" i hear him grumble. "what?" i ask, since i could barely hear him.
he turns, facing me glaring at me. "i said why shouldn't i? who the hell is that guy that you were hugging in your post?" he asks, aggravated.
"jacob. that's my cousin nate. i wouldn't ever do something like that to you." i explain, keeping my voice soft. his eyes glance over my face quickly. "promise?" he eventually asks. "pinky promise." i smile, holding out my pinky.
one thing that everyone knows about me is that i never break pinky promises. he smiles and does it, then proceeds to tackle me into the bed, crushing me in a hug. he peppers kisses all over my face.
i laugh at the sudden attention i'm suddenly getting. "just tell me in the future babe." he smiles, planting a kiss on my lips. "of course." i smile back.
