Me and my friends are all hanging out together and Mason keeps staring at his phone and texting someone and not taking to us that much.

"Mason, who are you texting so much?" I ask him, slightly annoyed because he doesn't know how much I like him and how much I want to talk to him and be around him.

"Oh, uh, Sydney." He replies, shutting off his phone before hearing it ding and going back to texting her.

I feel my expression drop and I glance over to Maddy who's already looking at me. She picks up her phone and suddenly I hear my own phone ding.
