After Georgia found out that Maddie was using her for information, and only came back to find stuff, she told her daughter she knew she could trust and she was pissed

Georgia and Gracie were sitting at the table when Austin, Caleb, Maddie and Ginny came into the dining room

"Hi! We got butter pecan, and cookie and cream, your fave!" Maddie called

"Why are their bags packed?" Ginny asked looking at the suitcases

"They're leaving" Georgia spoke looking at them

"No! Why?" Austin asked looking at her

"Because its time for them to go" Gracie spoke up

"Really? Is that what we're doin?" Maddie asked looking at Georgia

"Ginny take your brother upstairs."

"No, Mom, its ok. We talked" Ginny said shaking her head

Maddie shook her head putting the ice cream on the table "You haven't changed, Mary. Only looking out for yourself. Who cars what happens to everyone else? As long as Mary end up on top"

"Mary? Who's Mary?" Ginny asked confused, Georgia had only really opened up to Gracie about some things that happened, along with her no longer going by Mary.

"Mary? Yeah. Who is Mary?"

"Upstairs, Ginny. Take Austin"

"Mom, what is-"

"I said now!" Georgia shouted, Gracie felt like she should leave by Georgia needed her there

"Well, this feels familiar! Its like New Orleans all over again. And even Gracie is here, just older"

"How dare you come to my house and meet my children?" Georgia asked looking at Maddie who chuckled

"So high and mighty. Dont get a nosebleed up there on your high horse. You may have fooled everyone else in this place, but i know you" Maddie said coming closed, Gracie handed Georgia something as she placed it on the table

"What's that?" she asked looking at it

"Ten grand. Double what you asked for" Gracie said standing next to Georgia as Maddie's face fell

"I wasnt gonna-"

"Mm-hmm"

"i needed the money!"

"Mm-hmm"

"You know what? No.  You would've done the exact same thing, and you know it. Ten grand is the least you could do! You built this pretty life for yourself. But you left me behind to fend for myself. I was a kid!"

"Well, you're not a kid now.

"Fine. Fine. But i know you aint mad about the PI. You know I'd never rat out what you did in New Orleans. Your stupid little poker game. You're mad cause i remind you of him. You cant take one look at me without seeing my dad. Feel him."

"Get the hell outta my house" Georgia said looking at her

"But i know what it feels like. To have your insides curl up whenever you remember. Of wanting to peel off your own skin and smash your brain across the room. You know how i know that feeling? Cause after you left...he started doin it to me.

"Best get goin'. Traffic" Georgia said looking at her, Maddie sniffled before grabbing the money and going to grab Caleb

Gracie was walking in the hallways at school, every now and then she would wince if her legs rubbed together and the fresh cuts on her thighs got irritated, or how she cant stomach food and needs to throw up but there's nothing to throw up

"Hi, Gracie" Marcus smiled coming from behind her and hugging her

"hi" she smiled slightly

"how are you? You know, since last night?" he asked looking at her

"Fine. Bunch happened after you left, Maddie and Caleb left, Ginny still hates our mom, uh, the end" She shrugged opening her locker

"Im sorry, you can always come over and stay the night with me" he smiled looking at he as she sighed

"i dont know, i need to be there for my mom right now" she said chewing on her lip

"Come on, Gracie. I promise they'll last one day without you. One night even. And if they need you, you're literally across the street" he questioned as she thought for a second

"Okay fine, but the second any of the, text me i have to leave" she said closing her locker as he smiled kissing her

"Okay, okay, okay we get it you love birds take it somewhere else" Abby laughed passing them in the hallway as Gracie flipped her off kissing Marcus once more

"Come over after school?" Marucs asked as she nodded

"Yeah, ill see you then" She smiled before turning and catching up with Abby, who put her arm around her shoulder

"Uh, i dont know if i can share you with that thing anymore" Abby whined as Gracie laughed a little

"i love you, Abs" She smiled before they walked into Gym class

"Our mom deals with her problems by ignoring them. Bundling them up in a neat little box and packing it away. Leaving the past in the past"

"But it doesn't only affect her. Its mine and Gracie's life also, she might not admit it but its also affecting her. I would say Gracie is more like our mom then me. And i wanna open the neat little box"

"Hi, dad" Ginny said answering her phone

Gracie was in the other room sitting at her desk she was trying new methods she had learned instead of harming, so far it wasn't working.

"Hi" Gracie smiled as Marcus answered the door

"i was beginning to think you weren't coming" he said grabbing her bags from her as she closed the door and took her shoes off

"Sorry I'm late, it was a whole thing at home. And i was only able to leave right now and i would-" she rambled but he cut her off by giving her a quick kiss before grabbing her hand and leading her to his room

"Lets watch a movie and relax. They're gonna be okay without you, Gracie. They shouldn't be that dependent on you, and you should be able to leave the house for a little when you wanna" he said as she nodded chewing on her lip

"I know, its just whenever something happens I'm the first one they all run to"

"And now you're gonna relax for a second, we're gonna watch a movie, and you can have your ringer on incase anything happens" he said sitting her on his bed as she nodded

"Okay, fine, come lay down" she smiled scooting over as he came and lied next to her

"What are we?" Gracie spoke half asleep as Marucs was playing with her hair and humming

"What do you mean?" he asked pausing the movie

"Like, i dont know, we act like we're together, but neither of us have asked eachohter out. So are we dating or what?" she asked turning over and looking at him as he moved the laptop

"Well, for right now, do you wanna go out with me, Gracie? Dont worry ill do a big asking soon, but this is for right now" he asked rubbing her cheek as she smiled brightly

"Yes, Marcus, i will go out with you" she smiled leaning over and kissing him as he placed his hand on her waist
