"There's no reason for us to fall in love."

Theodor Aldrich

"So your father is a bit grumpy, huh?" Delilah sneered as I snuck into her room.

She currently lives at my house. Maybe it would be better if she was always around, but Delilah said she would leave after she got a new job and took a steady paycheck. I will follow her wherever she goes.

Back to the topic. She criticized how my dad was the first time. It's true that Mario Aldrich is a bit fierce when you look at him, but over time those who have known him will know that he is a good person. After all, I have repaired my relationship with my dad. He accepted me back as his son.

It was thanks to Delilah's words that were able to convince him.

So, shouldn't I thank her?

"A little fierce you say?" I repeated her statement about my father. "That's the kind of person he is."

"But you're lucky because you can go back to him. He's your father, so now there won't be any more problems, right between the two of you?"

"I hope so."

Delilah smiled sweetly while combing her hair. I came closer to him and hugged her. My gaze saw Delilah's eyes which were slightly different from the direction of the mirror reflection. She was thinking about something.

"What are you thinking, Del?" I asked her softly.

"Nothing."

I just concluded everything. She definitely missed her parents. "Del, I love you so much!" That's all I could say to her, making her a little more comfortable to smile again. "You love me too, right?"

"Who's said?"

Then I released my hug from her. Delilah stood in front of me after she had tied her hair in a ponytail.

"You mean? So you don't love me?"

"Did I ever say that?" She replied.

Ah, that hurt me a little.

"Del, I did all—"

She kissed me first.

I rolled my eyes. Am I not dreaming? It was Delilah who kissed me. This is the first time!

"I'm so fucking in love with you, Theodor Aldrich."

The way she said that sentence made me want to own her even more.

Can I?

"Can I ask you a question?"

Delilah nodded. Her hands were around my neck. "Yeah, ask me anything you want."

"Why did you fall in love with me?"

"It's that your questions? What a fool you are!"

"Del, I'm serious. Just answer my question, why do you love me?"

"I think you already know the answer."

"Didn't they tell you that I'm a savage?" I continued to look deeper into her eyes. This time Delilah seemed to be silent in a thousand words. "I'm sure Roman said something bad about how I worked with him. I don't deserve to be loved by you. Not supposed to."

"Why are you looking down on yourself?"

"I only---"

Delilah silenced me again by kissing me. My heart feels like it's going to fall out.
