PEARL’S POV :
1 month later ….
One month has passed by since I have joined the McAndrew’s . There were no such problems in the outlet whatsoever . Some customers were rude but Daisy has her own way of handling those customers . As Daisy has promised to me , she is paying me double of the salary what the waitress gets in this outlet . But Daisy has requested to keep it a secret from everyone and especially from Stuart . I feel like I am getting overpaid for my work , but this money is helping me to make my life stable again . I have even bought a new couch for my house and new dress for me and Liam .
In this one month more or less everyday , my and Stuart’s paths crosses each other but he never create any sin , he smiles at me while I also smiles him back , sometimes he even call me inside of his cabin and have a little talk with me . It is mainly about Liam and about our personal life .There is even some gossips floating around the outlet about me and Stuart , but I don’t pay any attention to them . I know , what relationship we used to have and what relationship we have now , so I just ignores them .
In this one month , Stuart has become more close with Liam , and the friendship between me and Stuart has somewhat improved . In this one month he has visited my house more than I have expected . He generally visits my house in the evening to spend time with us . I don’t have any objection to him regarding his visit , after all he is the father of Liam and that little soul is getting the love from his father which he was craving from a long time .
Present day …
“ Wake up , baby “ I whisper to Liam . “ No mommy , let me sleep a little more “ he spoke with a sleepy tone . “ Have you forgot baby , Stuart has promised to take us to the zoo “ I spoke .
Yes , you heard it correct , Stuart is taking us to the zoo . Basically , 2 days ago , while watching “ man vs wild “ on the Discovery channel , Liam asked about the animals . Stuart told him about the animals , but he was not satisfied . So , Stuart promised him to take him to the zoo in this weekend . Stuart even requested me to join with them . I agreed to his request as it was also an opportunity for me to mend our messed up relationship .
As soon as Liam heard about visiting the zoo , he jumped from the bed , running towards the dresser . I followed him , while chuckling at his enthusiasm .
“ Mommy , hurry up . Help me find what to dress “ Liam asked . “ But , before that you need to brush your teeth and fresh up and have some breakfast “ I ordered . “ Okay mommy “ he replied with a groan .
Reluctantly he went towards the wash basin , brushed his teeth and got freshened up . After washing his face , he ran towards the dresser to select the dress .
“ Mommy , help me to find a dress “ he requested . “ You want to impress the female monkeys with your style “ I joked . Liam side-eyed me , but I think he didn’t got my sarcasm . After searching , for a while , we decided on some cotton shorts and a red polo that matches with his sneakers .
“ How do I look mommy ? “ he asked . “ As usual , you are looking handsome “ I said the truth . He was actually looking handsome like his father , Stuart also used to love red color , I still remembers , he wore red colored shirt on our first date . Good old memories .
