An old SUV on the side of a mountain. An ocean below that is the wrong color. The water rises. The road disappears. What follows is a single night that refuses to reset - a connected geography of flooded coasts, empty villages, houses with rooms that descend into the earth, massive fish waiting in still water, cold summits, industrial wastelands, childhood nightmares, and a rectangular hole cut into stone containing something the mind must never finish imagining. Morning comes. The day continues. The day looks different now. The day has always looked different. You just didn't notice until the film got thin enough to see through.
